Hi everyone, this is Corp here and welcome to my blog and views about a character I am thinking about well, particularly in FairyTail. Usually I don’t be used to make this amount of analysis and points of views about a character that I least like in the fairy tail series. Now usually I don’t have a character I would dislike in most animes, especially this series itself but then I started to think about a way of seeing which character was more disappointing from my perspective and honestly it took a time and after trying to check and ensure everything it was all made up. I hope you enjoy reading this and also I hope enjoy reading all the other from the blogging bandit point of view towards their least disliked or the most disappointing character they got to witness. Here we go

Rogue Cheney:

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

Oh boy, I am going to get some hate for this because people would expect any of the main characters but no it’s a side character and from the saber tooth clan. Unfortunately I was disappointed from Rogue than most of the characters due to some reasons that I would love to explain about so here we go. Disclaimer: I don’t hate the character but I hate how Hiro Mashima wrote a character like Rogue yet disappointed me about him with his development.

My disappointment starts after the grand magic games arc where we get to meet his future persona, Future Rogue, a villain that really was interesting according to his mindset, abilities and really personality. I was pretty much excited for how much Future Rogue’s personality was way different from the present one that we know today. Much more badass, much more extroverted, highly opened and way more powerful with a way that made him an interesting character to look and see through throughout the next episodes that would come up in the anime and the manga. At the end of the arc where Future Rogue suddenly disappeared and faded away from the present. It made me question what potential and development would Hiro Mashima would give to Rogue completely. The times move on and the series gets closer and closer towards its ending, I don’t see any changes whatsoever then I see on the Avatar dark guild or the reunion and rebuild of the FairyTail guild. The dark shadows of Rogue fading away as Natsu Dragneel was capable of changing his fate completely when Future Rogue warned him about it and explained to him what to do.

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

It was really going to go interested and something that would put a smile at anyone’s face but... no... his development that occurred was only through his personality not by his power. Just.. why... you made me interested in a character filled with potential ever since the Grand Magic Games and it all went fading away developing Sting Eucliffe more and more and ignoring Rogue completely as he will stay the same with no changes at all. It was butthurting, offending and really something I really didn’t like about and something I won’t ever reconsider to be forgiven about ever. I have never been more than disappointed that they showed the future persona of a character that would have a huge potential towards a great character development from his underrated character themselves and this would occur honestly. IT WAS TRIGGERING.

Conclusion:

To be honest, if Hiro was capable of showing any development to Rogue during the 100 years quest arc I wouldn’t be mad about it and I just hope it is something unique other than the shadow light dragon slayer mode since he has given to sting honestly. For real though, I don’t hate Rogue or despise the character, I like his two sides of personality, one that is serious and the other side that is extremely soft hearted and friendly in his way but I’m just sad they didn’t give him any fair amount of development. Anyways thank you so much for reading this and I’ll see you in the next blog that’s if I will be blogging during the time and bye bye

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I really blogged anything in relation to the Fairy Tail series so hopefully I still at least have a decent hand at writing. Without further adieu I will be talking about and explaining my least favorite character in the Fairy Tail series.

Who is my least favorite character?

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

If I had to choose any fairy tail character to be my least character from the series I would have to choose Jude Heartfilia, the father of Lucy Heartfilia, and business owner of Heartfilia Konzern.

Who is Jude Heartfilia?

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

Jude Heartfilia is the father of one of the main protagonists, Lucy Heartfilia. He is also the spouse of the deceased Layla Heartfilia whom he first encountered and fell in love with at the Love & Lucky merchant’s guild. After their youthful romance and coming up in parenthood both Layla and Jude decided to leave the Love & Lucky merchant’s guild. Thereafter their departure of the guild Jude Heartfilia decided to found his own business, the Heartfilia Konzern.

Why?

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

As we learned in the series, after the ing of his wife Jude Heartfilia used isolation and work engrossment in order to cope and run away from what occurred. In doing so he neglected his only child, Lucy Heartfilia. It was thanks to this neglect that Lucy Heartfilia was able to fully embrace her charisma and from the loving character we know. The reasoning for my dislike for Jude Heartfilia is because of his negligence towards his daughter due to the ing of his wife and ignoring the amount of pain and sorrow his own daughter must have also felt during the time. Along with this his carelessness and blatant disregard of his own daughter’s happiness when she had clearly found a proper home elsewhere and simple greed to use his own daughter in order to form a stronger business alliance showcases that for a majority of Lucy’s childhood after her mothers ing she was only an asset for him to use to his benefit later on. I also dislike Jude Heartfilia because of the wasted potential that occured with his character. As said in the beginning, Jude was a cruel and uncaring father but with the loss of everything around him he began to realize just how much he truly regretted not cherishing his daughter, however at the time Lucy is entrapped in Tenrou Island and her father es away. Had Jude the character managed to maintain his character development we could have possibly seen more character development occur in Lucy after the Tenrou Island arc and furthered demonstrate the realistic interpretation of cruel parents realizing and repenting for mistreating their children. This however was not the case as Jude was killed off in the series (not literally) and instead allowed for the blossoming of Imitatia, who is a good spark in the development of Lucy, however it could have been much more impactful had Jude been used to the full possible extent as a parent role in Fairy Tail, thus my dislike of the character Jude Heartfilia and his lack of full character use.

Thank you for listening to this small rant/explanation as to why Jude Heartfilia is my least Fairy Tail character!

Well fairies the time has finally come to discuss my least favorite character. Now I don’t hate this character but there are moments that drove them swiftly to my dislike list. So, who’s on the chopping block you ask? Well it’s none other than the Queen herself:

Hisui E. Fiore

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

So why Hisui? Why choose a character who was only really in the spotlight for one arc of the series? Well it’s because of that arc and what she did during it. The arc I’m referring to is the Grand Magic Games and more importantly the Eclipse Gate. Her actions resulted in devastation for her kingdom, the kingdom she is meant to rule when she’s crown Queen! Her actions and attitude during the majority of the arc resulted in a strong dislike for her that hasn’t stubbornly decided to stay. I have tried to like her since I’m a fan of her design. I love the simplicity of using various shades of a single colour, but I can’t do it. I just can’t bring myself to like her. Honestly when I think of Hisui I think of one of the seven deadly sins. I’ve done a post of this before so let’s revisit it, shall we? So, which sin do I see consuming the princess? Well that’s simple:

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

Pride. The excessive belief in one’s ability. It is a sin many are guilty of falling victim to. Pride is said to be where all other sins arise from, the root of all evil if you will. Princess Hisui’s pride clouded her judgement and put innocent people in danger. Now pride isn’t always a bad thing. Having a sense of pride in oneself can actually be a good thing for those who maybe don’t have much confidence in themselves. While this statement fits our dear princess, her pride actually caused more harm than good. How you may ask? The Eclipse Gate. Her pride as both a princess and celestial mage clouded her judgment and fooled her into believing she could handle the Eclipse Gate. She refused to listen to reason, in prisoned innocent people who were just trying to help, stole Lucy’s gate keys to open the Eclipse Gate and put her people in danger by opening it. She wanted to prove herself as a ruler of her kingdom and her pride wouldn’t allow her to listen to reason until it was too late. That pride was shattered when she witnessed first hand that she was helpless to stop the dragons from destroying the kingdom, helpless to protect her people and helpless to close the gate, the job falling onto the shoulders of the other mages. She had too much belief in the lies she was told by Future Rogue and her pride wouldn’t let her think otherwise. It was only when that sense of pride was destroyed did she truly step up as a ruler. The reason I chose the Jade Princess for this sin over others is because I don’t think she ever really atoned for her sin. Okay she made the keys that would help restore the Eclipse Zodiacs to their original state but in my eyes that doesn’t make up for what she did or put her people through. She locked Lucy up and stole her keys, locked Fairy Tail in an inescapable prison, released angry dragons on the city and didn’t do a thing to stop it. Like she didn’t even try to think of a plan. She just stood there, watching the chaos unfold. We know from Future Lucy that Hisui’s choices lead to an endless sea of death. Having said that, we don’t see the damage her actions caused in her timeline. We have no idea how many homes were destroyed, people were injured or lives were lost! All because she was too proud to it her flaws. The first sin has a host.

Hey! Normally I try to say positive things and not negative, but this time things will be a little different. Today I’m gonna discuss my LEAST favorite character of Fairy Tail.

So, my least favorite character HAS to be Lucy. I know some people really enjoy her as a character, and I do agree that she brings a lot of good content into the series. However, my problem with this character lies within the personality of the character. She strikes me as someone who is constantly complaining, nagging, etc. and can’t be content with the world around them. Personally, I also find her drawn out speeches, voice, and almost tsundere-style attitude to be a “push away” factor for the series. Again, she is an important character, and I acknowledge and appreciate that aspect, but I don’t like the personality of Lucy.

hey hey hey fta! I haven't finished writing a b a really really long time, so I was really motivated to submit a section into this collab! Since the topic is my least favorite character, I will be discussing Happy, Natsu’s exceed friend.

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

Before anyone throws a fit about me not liking Happy, I have several reasons for not liking him. I don't hate Happy, he just isn’t the type of character that appeals to me. The first topic I'll be touching on is WHAT kind of character I find attractive or likable. Through all the anime I've seen, I've always taken a particular liking to blondes, characters with undercuts, and twinks. For example, Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter, Atsumu Miya from Haikyuu, Levi Ackerman and Jean Kirstein from Attack on Titan, Bakugo from My Hero Academia, Mary Saotome from Kakegurui, Dimaria Yesta from Fairy Tail, and Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri on Ice. I also appreciate when characters have a complexity to them, and have good character development as well as excellent designs. Let me use Dimaria as an example.

I enjoy Dimaria’s character dynamic and the contradiction she feels between her loyalties to the Spriggan 12 and her best friend, Brandish. I rarely get to see this kind of relationship between characters, so seeing it portrayed in Dimaria was really entertaining. As viewers know, Dimaria is very close with fellow spriggan, Brandish. In contradiction to Brandish’s soft spoken and sarcastic demeanor, Dimaria’s brash and lively personality is what makes their pairing so fun to see. I particularly like Dimaria because of her free spirit. She isn’t stuck up and lets loose around everyone, even Zeref. I love the amount of confidence she exerts, and pretty much everything about her. My number one, my favorite. On top of her layered and dynamic personality, her character design! She is designed so wonderfully, the colors used in her pallet perfectly describe the type of person she is. I especially love the touches of armor that are added to her. In addition, the character development she is given throughout the series is what really made me fall for her.

Examples aside, let me get onto the main focus of this blog, why I don't like Happy. Firstly, Happy is not blonde, does not have an undercut, and is not a twink. I've certainly made exceptions to this before (coughs in Dazai Osamu is Mira’s loml,) however my first impression of him wasn’t all that appealing to me. When he was first introduced in the anime, I just generally felt irritated at him especially when Natsu was being carried away on the train and Happy just stared at him. I think that this might’ve been a comical choice, and while it was funny, I wasn't very pleased with the way Happy dealt with a situation like that, especially since I had heard that Fairy Tail was an anime that centered itself around friendship.

Second, good character development and complexity, two things Happy does not have much of. Through all 328 episodes of the show, through all 545 chapters of the manga, Happy had zero character development. I'm not even joking with this point, Happy even itted it himself when he met Carla at Lamia Scale in the last season and said he “trained” to wait a little longer before he ate any fish. This statement just upsetted me because Happy made it seem like barely any effort was put into his training, and in my opinion, it sounded like it was making fun of the genuine progress Natsu, Lucy and Carla had made.

As mentioned before, character design is essential when it comes to my criteria of likability. Happy is a blue cat, who wears a green backpack. Throughout the whole series, the green bag is all Happy has really consistently worn, which is fairly boring in comparison to the other incredible and unique designs of the countless other characters of the series. My personal favorite designs are Erza's numerous armors, Mirajane’s spirit forms, Lucy's star dresses and Chelia’s and Wendy’s designs when they were introduced, along with Sting's clothing choices paired with his earring. Compared to those complex and detailed designs, Happy’s falls short of satisfaction, which is why I dislike him. Even characters with less detailed designs like Gray, Natsu, and Cana, have changed up their style sometime in the series.

I’ve been tempted to write a little blurb about my dislike for a particular character for a while, but never got around to posting anything for it, so I guess this finally will be the time I can do something lol.

~Romeo Conbolt~

Least Favorite Character || Group Collab-Hello again everyone~ It’s your friendly neighborhood blogging group Blogging Bandit

My careless attitude towards Romeo probably stems mainly from the fact that RoWen is my absolute NoTP since Wendy and Romeo hardly interact at all. I personally adore those ships that blossom naturally and just comes easily within interactions. Romeo and Wendy just seems like a ship that is forced because people wanted Wendy to be shipped with some age appropriate guy to keep her straight (because honestly, the closest in age to her and the character she gets along best with is Chelia). So, my dislike for Romeo probably started with that bad taste in my mouth because its a ship that does get attention, especially when you’re a Wendy role player.

The more I think about his character though, the more I dislike how he’s handled in the series. If Mashima paid attention to side characters like Romeo, I think he wouldn’t be so bad of a character probably, but Mashima honestly doesn’t really grow his side characters well or give them good storylines in the series itself. He gets a few spotlight moments, but its rare and we don’t really get to meet him as a character but just have a character standing there in a sense. Like after the seven year gap, Romeo is the character we focus on that really is holding out hope for Natsu and the other Tenrou Team , but we don’t get much Romeo in this instance and just focus on the fact that someone wants the Tenrou Team back and is constantly believing they will return. Honestly, they could have used any character in this moment which is why I say we don’t really get a focal point on Romeo as a character himself. He just kind of exists in the show and I blame that more on the writing rather than the character, so slight for Romeo not being a complete awful character.

Sorry for the tangent, let’s get back to what makes Romeo stand out as being the character I do not like. I can forgive the ship obsession since that’s not his fault, and I can forgive the bad writing, but the part that makes me cringe about Romeo stems from how he really comes across as a poor Natsu knockoff, especially with that seven year gap. Look at how he’s dressed! He’s got a scarf and the no-sleeve long open jacket thing that is similar to Natsu’s outfit. Even the guild mark is the same color and placement. What makes things even more bad Natsu knockoff? He studied fire magic. I get that he’s a Natsu fan and has always looked up to the Salamander especially after Natsu rescued his dad all that time ago, but this was way too much and really makes me shake my head at Romeo and wish that he got a storyline of sorts to grow in. So sorry, but this is probably the biggest reason I have Romeo as my most disliked character of Fairy Tail. Hopefully one day he will have his own story but right now, he is a knockoff Natsu with a horrible handling by the mangaka and just an annoying kid in my opinion.
