Back at it with another tier list. This time featuring something one might not consider, Inventory items.

Tier List: Inventory Items-Back at it with another tier list. This time featuring something one might not consider, Inventory

I don't really think this one needs too much explaining, it just seemed like an interesting idea to make to sorta have a break between all the Generation tier lists.

As per usual here's the Link to the maker i put together and comment your thoughts below.

Also if you'd rather see the gen 3 tier or a different one that features all of the units that possess skill (my little secret for now) comment below for that too. Don't think it necessarily needs a poll as I might eventually do both, but if anyone has a preference, say so below.

We tried making our own amino, but it had too many people so we shut it down for the public

Arena Medals are required to refine items so they should be on the same tier as refine stones

I think the Divine Dew can be higher than the Refine Stones and Trait Fruits. Can really change a unit (Brave Hector, Fallen Celica, probably the DC weapon refines we're getting, and so so much more)

Refine Stones on the other hand... +1/2/3/4 to specific stats and +5/2 HP (in other words, effectively net +2 HP compared to special refines.) Special refines in most cases transcend the ability to add any of those amounts of stats to a specific stat. And that includes transcending IVs.

Regular refines basically do the same thing as altering IVs via Trait Fruit. And you can't tell me changing your Brave Hector's IVs away from -Atk +Spd is going to make more a difference than getting his refine. That's essentially what you're saying by placing Trait Fruits higher than Divine Dew.

Furthermore, Trait Fruits aren't the only things that can change IVs (except Grail units obviously) so they aren't THAT special. You're also getting the amount you need to change IVs at such a slow rate, it's hard for it to matter as much to where it's on the same tier as Orbs and Feathers.

So basically what I'm saying is Trait Fruits bump down Divine Dew bump up.

Sure divine dew can be better than an IV change under the context of units with good pref weapon refines and/or 3/4* units. But I’d argue trait fruits are still more value able overall.

First off my main reasoning behind having Sacred Coins, Refining Stones, and Divine all together would have to be from my feeling that their uses eventually plateau and they get built up for whenever they’re eventually needed (Tempest Trials and Monthly Updates). Those times are the only times those resources ever seem relevant to a long time player, using my own inventory for example below. All the while I find Dragonflowers and all the S tier items to hold value in every single one you accumulate.

And while they are needed to refine preferred weapons, the rate at which we receive Refining stones is rather fast which feeds into the divine dew total as the exchange rate is 1:1.

Divine Dew is also useless towards basically every unit in the game that is Gen 3 or older. Sure you may not have to concern yourself with a +spd -atk bector when he can be refined. But what about say a +spd -atk winter altina? Sure a merge can fix the bane but if you had the option to give a unit their optimal boon, without pulling and getting lucky, wouldn’t one want to take it?

As for trait fruits being obtained at a slow rate. Yes that it true, but that means you’d want to nab every single fruit you can get and doesn’t make them any less valueable. (They’re basically the only reason i care about mjolnirs strike).

So basically, trait fruits are more VALUEABLE

You say Divine Dew income is sufficient enough to where you always have enough for when you need them. However, not everyone can say the same. People play differently. Like me, I always have more units I want to refine. Many others can say the same.

I'm sure the Divine Dew is positioned perfectly based on you personally, but I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be a general one, no?

In the case of Winter Altina, would you not want to save that for a Grail unit who has no ability to change IVs otherwise? Which limits it to a lot less than special refinable units. Yes you can use Trait Fruits on other types of units, but who in reality does that with their Fruits? Maybe on a few desperate occasions, but I'd think most would spend them on Grail units therefore effectively limiting their usage. To further reinforce that, there's of course the argument of how slow you obtain them regardless. While I'm talking about this, of course Trait Fruits are quite valuable. I'm not saying they are any less valuable. They change your units IVs, which is very useful. But it's hard to say these valuable fruits are ranking among Orbs and Feathers when their income is so so slow. How can you get much use out of them when you only have enough to use them like everyone 2 months? That should be taken into .

However, I suppose if we are discounting the rate in which you receive the items like your are pretty much doing with the Trait Fruits, wouldn't you do the same to Divine Dew? You say the main reason Divine Dew is lower is due to you having enough Divine Dew to where it matters less as a result and gets a lower place. Makes sense. (in the context of your playstyle at least) In other words, you're saying it's lower because it's given sufficiently. And yet Trait Fruits being scarcely handed to you is not at all a factor? Rather contradicting there.

I still stand by what I said.
