What's up Garage Amino!? It's been quite a while since I've posted on here, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been working on my car. As some of you may know, I picked up a Megan Racing OE-RS cat-back exhaust system for my car about a year ago. I never really posted anything about it other than asking about how to get some rusted exhaust bolts off.
They Were Pretty Bad

After that post last year I got frustrated and tired of dealing with rusted nuts & bolts. The exhaust stopped being a priority and just sat in my garage for over a year... that was until recently!
Ambition
Randomly 2 weeks ago, I got super interested in attempting to get that old exhaust off and new one on again. Now this could've come from the constant nagging from my Dad or begging of my friends to get the dang thing installed. :joy:
WELL WE DID IT BOYS!!
I finally took a sawzall to the dang thing and got that old system off. LOOK AT THAT RUSTY OLD EXHAUST :mask:
This was the easy part... I then had to drill out the old studs from the exhaust which took several hours but I got it done with the help of one of my buddies. We got everything bolted up except the muffler because I couldn't get the rear end of the car high enough to wiggle it over the axle and down onto the other pipe. After taking it to my local performance shop everything was bolted up and ready to go. I finally got to listen to the glorious sound!!
Specs
This is the Megan Racing OE-RS cat-back exhaust system. It's constructed of 100% stainless steel and has 2.5in pipes with dual 3in tips. Now it's not crazy loud, some might say it's not loud enough... BUT I daily this car and the slightly louder, more aggressive sound is perfect for me. Cruising at 55mph, there is barely any noticable noise. However, step on the throttle, and the car roars to life almost sounding like a 350Z.

And I understand we're good and you know it sounds like I got a cherry bomb on my 1990 Toyota pickup and that thing just sound so crisp I love it it sounds like it got something but it ain't got nothing under there just four cylinders carbureted literally make him like 198 HP
I also want something similar for a Corolla AE91 and Mercedes Benz W202... any recommendations...?
Hmmm I'd have to do some research. I took a lot of time listening to different audio clips to find this one for mine.

I'd want the same one... :grin: .. the variation will come in with the difference in engine capacity... i just like how well it fits for a daily driver...

Well Megan Racing might make a cat-back exhaust for those cars. I guess you'll have to look it up.
