AH²⁴ :: Owl Post

Hello students! Ra here and I am excited to update you all on what has been happening around Hogwarts! Let us dive in!

                                      Plot

Yesterday, the final piece of the time turner was retrieved. The students faced numerous challenges to do so! After triggering a lever by the Owl Lectern in the Great Hall, 4 pedestals appeared in the middle of the room. A large snake statue by the name of Sssebassstian came to life and gave the children a riddle to solve. After correctly answering, the snake moved to his pedestal and an Eagle statue came to life. Erana removed the gravity in the hall and flew around. The students chased her mid air, nearly catching her when suddenly gravity came back and everyone, including Erana the Eagle, fell down to the ground. It became clear the statues feel the consequences of the incomplete ritual as well.

Next up, Brunhilde the Badger came to life, gentler than her fellow statues. She requested the students would find her fruit bowl, and so they did, after searching the castle they found every stone fruit Brunhilde had lost. As she took her place with the other, Leighton the Lion woke from his slumber. The largest of the four with glowing red eyes, turned out to be a bit of a playful cat. The students could successfully lure the lion to his pedestal with a little feather.

Once all four were in place, Leighton let out a mighty roar, awakening the statues and a staircase appeared, leading the students to an old room below the Hall. There they found encryptions in the walls, holes in each of them and a locked box. After unlocking the box it revealed 4 tiles each bearing a house crest. They had to match each tile to an encryption on the walls.

After putting everything in order, a wall opened and revealed the last peace. All pieces united, repaired itself like magnets, and the time turner is now complete.

Now all they have to do is tell Theodore and ask him what comes next…

                          Extra Curricular’s

With the spots for the Quiz Tournament and Debate filled, this week will start the competitions! Corinne and Aurora have already made the Quiz Room chat and your dear Heistress Nazario will everyone this week, I do apologize for the delay.

                                 Quidditch

I am excited to share the results of the two matches this past weekend! Gryffindor and Hufflepuff have played their first matches of this season and it is safe to say that Ravenclaw vs Hufflepuff was one of the most epic matches in Quidditch history.

                               Hogsmeade

Hogsmeade has officially opened today! Get your permission slips signed by your Head of House and go explore the lovely village with your friends.

Hufflepuff are no joke this year! They took the lead and are soaring away with it. No need to despair for the other houses though. There are plenty of opportunities to earn house points yet to come.
