Learning About Lyra's Past

The next day, the couple woke up and got ready for today. Nova woke up and Lyra took her out of her crib. She then asked her mother how she ended up having a different point of view in Hell. Lyra asked Nova if she really wanted to know because what Lyra saw herself was traumatic. Nova nodded and after Lyra took a deep breath, she obliged. It was the day when Lute put Vaggie through so much pain after she spared a sinner and let him get to safety. Before Lute inflicted more pain, Lyra stopped her sword with her own.

Lute: Back away from the traitor.

Lyra: That's far enough. You already put Vaggie through enough.

Lute: I'm not going to say it again. Back the fuck off before I do it myself.

Lyra: Make me, motherfucker.

Adam: What in the actual fuck is going on here? Why are you two arguing right now in the middle of an extermination?

Lute: This bitch is making a big deal after I made Vaggie suffer the consequences for sparing a sinner.

Lyra: Because it is a big fucking deal when you attacked her when she let her guard down.

Lute: Maybe she should learn how to get her job done!

Adam: Oh my fucking god, stop, you two! Lute, get your shit together. And you, Lyra, need to keep it down with your lash outs. We need to go now. What's done is done.

As Adam and Lute fly away, Lyra looks back at the injured Vaggie. Lyra kneels down and looks at the bad damage as she took off her mask

Lyra: I'm sorry, Vaggie. I'm so sorry.
