While I didn't find this one to be bad, it is still not a good movie. The story isn't bad with a drifter where the wolf gets captured by a circus freak show and force him to be in their show. While the premise isn't that bad and could show how these people treat inhuman like props. But the movie itself is having a problem with its pacing because things happen pretty quickly. Like how the townsfolk first didn't trust him, but after fixing the church, they soon do. And how the circus shows up quickly and shown they are not good people on how they treat Winston. The movie itself feels like it rushing itself on how things happened quickly and lack of explanation throughout. It would be interesting how Harker started this freak show and how he got these people to him. Also, there's barely any werewolf action to be found in this movie because all he does is transform and make random noises. The movie does have a twist on how the villain really is, but it isn't that interesting at all. But the climax itself is alright for the most part, but the choreography could have been better.

Due to the pacing of the movie, the characters lack any development to them and are pretty bland.

Ian Richards is a drifter who comes to the small town and has a dark secret to him. There's only one scene where he gives his backstory, but other than that, I found him to be a pretty bland character.

R.B. Harker, who is the owner of the circus, and i wish the movie built into the character by giving him a backstory and having him a threatening villain. And his twist isn't that impressive.

One other character i want to mention is Winston, who is a man with lchthyosis who is treated poorly by the villains. He doesn't have a backstory on where he comes from and how he ends up with the circus.

I found the special effects to be a mixed bag in this movie. The werewolf makeup effects don't look impressive at all and don't even look like one. As for the transformation, it's barely there in the movie. Probably the best effects come when Harker reveals himself on who he really is. It looks pretty good on how he looks and is different from others I see.

Howling 6: The Freaks is another medicore sequel that isn't the worst but is far from a good movie.
