Ok, here me out

I’m not much of a writer, and this guy is part of a comic that a few friends and I have been working on. So pretty much everything on here is info for him in the comic and most of this is copy and pasted. Not all of it though, I’ll try to what concepts my friends made for him. So if this lore is a bit weird you’re just gonna have to bear with me-

The lore

Jhonen knows that he’s from Earth, but he doesn’t his life from there. He only re his life on Irk, where he spent most of his life on.

At the age of 10, he and hundreds of other humans were abducted by Irkens to enslave and experiment on. Only a few were selected for combat training and Jhonen was one of those few. This is when he met Roman, another human who was a few years older than him. Because the two were the youngest on the training grounds, the two quickly became friends.

During their time of training, they would always banter and make fun of the Irkens, sneak out of training to and make plans for sabotaging them and save the other humans so they can go home. For years they were almost inseparable and the Irkens knew this. They always hated that if they were together then chaos will endure, so they made a way to permanently separate them.

While they sent Roman to elite training, they had “special” plans for Jhonen. They wanted to see if a human can potentially become a “secret weapon” for them. Unlike regular soldier training, they heavily manipulated him and forced him to do violent acts. To get him to do what he was told, they would get personal and play with his emotions. Because of Jhonens young age(at this point only 13) and frustration with his separation from Roman, this would always work. When Jhonen obeyed, the Irkens would heavily praise him in return.

Because of how young he was, the Irkens took this to their advantage and would raise him to be nothing but loyal and violent. Despite his past hatred of them, the constant praise he received over the years would contradict his past beliefs.

The Irkens pushed Jhonen even harder when it came to training in his later teen years, and it got to the point where he was unfazed by violence. They taught him that emotions were a sign of weakness and told many lies to make the Irken race seem like they were saving the universe instead of conquering it. Because of the past manipulation and grooming, he believed them.

He finished his elite training and became the first ever human to become an invader by 18.

During their separation, Roman abandoned his training and became a fugitive. He wanted to leave Irk, but couldn’t because he didn’t want to leave Jhonen behind. However, because of Jhonens reputation, everyone including Roman has heard about him. In order for Roman to get his old friend back, he wanted to show him that the Irkens never truly respected him by sabotage.

A few years later Roman final had the chance and made it seem like that Jhonen was responsible for the incident. He was falsely imprisoned and was taken to trial. They no longer wanted Jhonen to be associated with them, so they removed his fake PAK and banished him. Because of his loyalty to the Irkens he planned on finding and killing Roman.

Since Jhonen didn’t know how to manage his emotions, he lashed out and caused terror among the Irkens out of pure anger and frustration. Blinded by rage, he killed one of his old mentors and stole their dual plasma guns to use on Roman once he finds him.

Once he found him, Roman didn’t want to fight and tried to reason with him. Jhonen ignored him and said that he “ruined his life”. When Roman froze in realization, Jhonen attacked him and barely survived. For some reason, he didn’t finish him off and left him. This later made Roman realize that there might still be hope for him.

Weeks later, the current Tallest personally sent him off for a fake invader mission. He still has never returned.

Personality

Jhonen is said to be an enigma or a human who thinks he’s Irken. Because he was brainwashed this caused him into becoming delusional. Based on what the Irkens taught him, he believed that every race(including his own) should be destroyed.

On Irk, he was considered ruthless and would do anything if will benefit the Irkens in anyway. He is a violent and dangerous individual only when needed however, as long as you leave him alone and mind your own business, he’ll do the same for you.

He would also express almost no emotion or remorse to anyone. When he does get emotional, he becomes confused and unpredictable. Lashing out is normally the side effects of this.

He also rarely speaks and would only speak in short sentences, single words, and short phrases. His speech is considered “robot and soulless” as if he were a robot or AI reading text(refer to Agent Smith from the Matrix for reference).

Trivia

-His hair is still black, it’s just that his hair is dyed

-his current PAK isn’t his original PAK. To symbolize that he is still loyal, he built a replacement. He also made it to where it can transform to a SIR unit since humans can’t have one

-he prefers fighting from a distance rather than melee combat due to him wearing glasses. He knows that if his opponent knocks them off his face then he’ll become vulnerable

-when and where he got the time to draw the way he does is a mystery. He’s probably a natural lmao

-how he even is still alive eating nothing but junk food is BEYOND ME

-his posture is slightly bad because his spine didn’t heal correctly after the original PAK was removed. This also means that he can’t bend backwards without any pain

-bro doesn’t know love or comion or how any of that goofy works

-he’s afraid to make anymore connections because he doesn’t want to go through what happened between him and Roman again

-he never sleeps, and when he does he thinks it’s a minor inconvenience
