this time i'm recommending a single album from d-crunch called 'addiction' while the title track has the same name. besides that the bsides are 'love you' and 'challenge'.
it's comeback which i've been so excited for and they didn't disappointed at all once again, so i knew that i had to talk about it. also hyunho got so many lines and absolutely shines in this comeback after so long with his parts, especially rapping and his overall charisma. he definitely owns this comeback and i just feel so thankful as well as excited to see him be so confident. the song in general has a older generation sound to it and a few quite common samples, especially during the chorus which still manage to make this song sound so outstanding. so like even though there are familiar elements in the instrumental they created something so artistic and addictive out of this just because of the unique concepts that they've delivering and their unbelievable charisma. these boys truly hold such power with such an intense and fierce concept while the energy in this perfectly fits their ion.
i nearly forgot that i decided to mention all three songs, so here's love you which is such a beautiful and somehow nostalgic sounding song. honestly there's something so comforting and healing about this while listening to this puts such a big smile on my face. it reminds me a little of an exciting road trip or a general night out during a warm summer day. that's because of the soothing and sweet, yet positive instrumental to this. plus their vocals here sound so stable and clear while especially these highnotes are so breathtaking. they truly delivered such a memorable and addictive energetic song with this which radiates such positivity. i also find the instrumental so artistic, even though it's rather simple. the whole song simply sounds so mesmerising and captivating while it has a lovely undertone to it. next is challenge which is yet again another powerful and charismatic song. it has like traditional elements in the instrumental which sounds so stunning, especially with that flute in the background. i don't know what exactly it is, because it's definitely traditional inspired but it sounds so mesmerising. the whole song has a collected yet intense feeling to it which sounds so incredible. i also love their strong and powerful rapping here. it's a rap based song which hits so different, especially because of their insane charisma and outstanding flows. plus the vocals in between or rather said for the pre-chorus in specific sound so pretty. i in general find the different layers and contrasts in this so irable while listening to this is so confidence-boosting. they truly delivered such a masterpiece with this.

today i'll be recommending kingdom's latest album. i was already so excited for this comeback because i'm so in love with their concept (it's one of my favourite concepts of all time) and i've already liked all of their last releases a lot 🤲🏻 :revolving_hearts: . and omg i was not disappointed at all!!! the title track is soooo good. i'm so in love with the mv, the song itself and how every member participates in this song. what i really enjoyed while watching the mv and listening to the song is that you can see such an improvement especially if you compare it to their debut. they are more confident in their vocals and raps and they definitely have more budget for mvs now and i'm such so incredibly proud of them and it makes me really happy to see how much they've improved. as always i've also checked out their album and omg i fell instantly in love with every single song. in the other albums i always had some songs that i've skipped but omg this album is definitely a no-skip album. i enjoy listening to this album so much and you really need to check it out. i usually need to be in the mood for certain songs especially ballad songs but omg the song 'the song of dann' is so beautiful that i could never skip it. at first my favourite bside was 'appetite' but at the moment i don't think i can pick one that is my favourite because i like all of them so much. i still don't understand how kingdom is so underrated :weary: 🥺. therefore i beg you to stop whatever you're doing and watch the mv and after that listen to the album and i guarantee you, you won't regret it :tulip: :revolving_hearts: .

Honestly I have been wanting to recommend this movie for the longest time. The moment I watched it I just wanted to re-watch it 10 thousand times (I even made my mother watch it cuz I need someone to talk about it sksks – that’s how good it got me). It has such an interesting premise and the twist is one you could never expect in your life which makes the whole thing as a whole quite the crazy yet enjoyable ride. Forgotten is a 2017 psychological thriller, with what I believe one of the most unbelievable writing and storytelling styles.
Let me start by saying that the only real reason I watched this movie was because of Kang Haneul. He has been one of my favorite actors of all time! Every role he plays is so different and extremely entertaining to watch, he would catch our attention right from the first scene his in til the end which I love so much. I went into this movie without zero knowledge of what it was about though which is what I recommend people doing as well. Be surprised and hop in for a wild ride.
However, if you are one of those people that can’t watch anything without having knowledge of things, I will give you a short synopsis. Haneul plays the main character who goes by the name of Jinseok. Jinseok and his family have moved to this brand new place, where suspicious things start happening. One night, Jinseok witnesses his brother getting abducted, which took a toll on his life. All hope was salvaged after said brother was returned back to the family 19 days after the abduction, with no memory of what happened. Nonetheless, Jinseok starts noticing that his brother is acting differently so decides to look for the truth behind what really went on. This journey of Jinseok finding the truth reveals a myriad of secrets that had been hidden within his seemingly perfect “family”. To be honest, if you like a good thriller and enjoy amazing acting this movie is definitely the one for you! Please don’t watch any trailers before going into it though as the whole plot would be revealed. Just trust that it would be a great experience overall!

This week I have decided to recommend one of my friends here on Amino, my dearest Mingi manipulation edit.. Yes I might be a bit biased about this one but seriously it is so uwu, I just can’t get enough. It is also worth mentioning that Bee recently also won 2nd place in the spring banner challenge, which makes me very happy to see. She has been displaying her talent for a while and it was about time she had gotten recognized for it. The point is that if you haven’t gotten the chance to be blessed by the beauty Bee constantly puts on her feed, then I am telling you now to go and give her work some love for a clearer skin. She deserves all the love and attention.
Let me not forget to say that Bee’s lovable personality makes it so hard not to be appreciative of her as a friend. She is always happy to help when needed and her presence anywhere makes any place brighter. She deserves the world.

It has been a hot minute since I listened to Boyfriend, so I really wanted to take this opportunity to talk about one of my favourite music videos from the group - for their song "Janus". This song- it will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was actually one of the first songs I listened to when I got into K-pop in 2012 and I instantly fell in love with every single aspect of it - the lyrics, the styling, the hair/make-up etc. but the main element was definitely the cinematography of the music video, hence why I decided to talk about it in this edition of BRT. When it comes to music videos, I personally have always been a fan of those which really incorporate a beautiful plot (like Day6, ATEEZ and BTS have done in the past) and have a combination of both artificially made and natural settings. It just sparks a new level of creativity and makes me appreciate the production team for going the extra mile, you know? In addition to this, having a combination of natural and artificially-created settings just creates this overall masterpiece because you need a new level of creativity in order to execute those sets. It's not easy to make them, but the ones in this particular music video- I loved them so much, which is why I decided to talk about it today. Firstly, let's talk about the song itself. The lyrics are very deep, powerful and heavy. It is clear that is a love song, but it's not being executed in your typical style. It's much louder, and the vibe I am getting from the of the group is just immaculate. There is a lot of raw emotion being conveyed and it's super intense which I like because it matches well with the intensity of the instrumental. It almost feels as if this song should be an OST for a movie or series - it's just so heavenly-sounding, especially that compliation of string instruments that dominate the instrumental.
10 seconds into the music video and I just want to mention how I'm not the biggest fan of the initial transitions - they remind me of those individuals who make Powerpoint presentations and then choose to incorporate every single transition/effect that they find. But thankfully, the music video does not remain like this throughout and it does get better visually. 0:21, Firstly I love how dramatic the ' facial expressions are because they correspond with the intense/dramatic instrumental beautifully. Secondly, I just wanted to pause here so we could take a look at the set design which I am liking. It's got a very strong regal, royal aesthetic and you can see this in the choice of props too - for example in the beigey/gold colour scheme going on on the walls. We don't have a lot of props in the scene, which actually made me happy because I do think it would have been a bit too much. Thirdly, I am a huge fan of how we get to see the choreography and there is definitely a recurring theme there too because I want to describe it as being elegant yet intense? The jumping and the incorporation of back-up dancers were just delightful. Fourthly, the outfits in this scene. For those of you who know me, you'll know I love a good royal-based concept so I am very pleasantly surprised that you feel the same vibe in the outfits. The transitions and cuts-offs do improve throughout the music video and I just can't get over the gorgeous camerawork. The way the cameraman zooms into each scene is just perfect - whoever this individual is, they clearly know what they are doing so props to them. 0:31 and 0:48 - The contrast between these scenes is just insane, and whoever came up with them; they deserve a raise. The way the twins walk with the actress - it's like we're seeing two parts of a story; the good & the bad, heaven & hell, past and present and the amount of emotion- Wow. It really does feel like a relationship that started off innocent, hence the choice of using white in the first scene, and eventually became toxic - hence why the latter scene is dominated by red and black.
2:09, It's almost as if the member lost himself. He once was a loving, caring young man but once he became brokenhearted - he changed entirely. It's interesting to say this but the way the snow is falling, it could symbolize how the pureness of the member fell but his anger ignited - which is why there are flames during the red scene. I will it - this music video is on the simpler side but it definitely proves that you do not need a huge budget in order to produce a beautiful music video. I have literal goosebumps because of the nostalgia - when people say that Youtube is the closest thing we will have to a time machine, they are right. This music video is just breathtaking in its own way and if I had to give it a rating, I would have to give it a 9.5/10 without a doubt.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

i also want to recommend a song which is a little unexpected, but when i checked out the comeback with memeM from purple kiss, i fell in love so quickly. it's more or less exactly the genre and style of music which i find so intriguing as well as addictive, so i had to talk about it as well. i in general find the structure of this song so mesmerising and intriguing while they deliver such power. this song is especially so addictive, because of their insane charisma and overflowing confidence which adds so much impact to this. plus the different parts of this song combined with the instrumental switches and different energy levels is so interesting to listen to. they truly created such an unique and artistic song. i also love the rather chaotic and loud instrumental in the chorus while the rest of the song sounds rather collected. plus that whispering part which introduces the second part is giving me chills while the change in the instrumental hits so different. they definitely didn't hesitate to deliver such unbelievable charisma with this instrumental, especially before that chorus comes back in. besides that, their vocals here sound so stable and clear especially these highnotes. it's also their powerful and controlled vocals as well as pretty voice tones which makes listening to this so amazing. and there's the rapping which adds such intensity to this. honestly the whole song just sounds so fierce and one of a kind while it's so worth checking out, especially if you need something expressive, imaginative and charismatic. next to that this mv, their styling and this choreography literally deserves awards for itself.
besides that, they're coming at us with pretty and stable vocals as well as impactful rapping. i mean like everyone sings in such a clean and controlled way while i find their voice tones as well as vocal colours so mesmerising. plus that combined with these rap parts and their flows as well as different techniques creates such an intriguing contrast. all of these parts work so beautifully together while i find the slow build-up and bridge so captivating, i don't even know what to say while the chorus comes in sounding all dynamic. another highlight is also the whispering, especially in the beginning which easily gives one such chills. the whole song just sounds so memorable and breathtaking while they did such an incredible job in delivering this. lastly i find the styling and choreography so eye-catching and irable as well. honestly the whole comeback just once again proves how hardworking and dedicated they're.
