Hello everyone! So I decided to try deg a banner for the fall banner challenge, one last time :sparkles:

So this is my final entry for the fall banner challenge! What do you guys think of it? 🤓

So whenever, fall season is coming around the corner. There is one holiday that most of us look forward to which is Halloween! :ghost: which is why I decided to go for a somewhat horror themed design for this banner :confounded: I still stick to using a warm colour scheme as it suits with autumn for this design, but this time I decided to make it a bit more darker and spookier to give off the mood of a halloween celebration! I guess most of my inspiration for this design came from every horror movie poster so I decided to make my own featuring Taeyeon from Girls Generation :grimacing: Vampire Taeyeon anyone? 🦇🤭I used images of Taeyeon from her Allure photoshoot because I thought it suit so well with the chilling vibe that I wanted to give off in my design :scream: To emphasise the eerie vibe, I used multiple layers of smoke textures to give off a creepy yet mystical vibe at the same time. Sticking with the halloween theme, I decided to also add in elements such as pumpkins and other decorative props to give a reminiscent of the holiday :ghost: I even used components such as the tree without branches (an important element in anything that is horror themed 🥴) and an old castle to enhance the creepy and freaky feeling to the design of the banner :sparkles: Not gonna lie, I’m actually kinda scared to look at this banner at night :confounded:

Update: I changed the position of my watermark cause I thought it was a bit distracting putting it at the upper left corner :grimacing: feel free to give me on my designs, I love to hear your thoughts and opinions on it 🤗

Process of design

It took me a pretty long time to design this banner as I was taking my sweet time trying to choose what elements to include in my design :persevere: Overall, it took me about 4-6 hours to complete this :grimacing:

As always, I didn’t spend too much time on the icon. Took me about 10 minutes to do it 🤗
