please don’t judge people for being upset about stuff like this. i don’t think at all it’s wrong for fans to be upset and almost grieving in this situation. i don’t think it’s wrong to have a lot of love for an idol who you don’t know personally, and to give a shit about them. frankly, it’s a very pure form of love and if they’ve made you happy and gotten you through shit, of course you’re gonna be upset when something comes out that you don’t expect. yeah, we don’t know them personally, and that has to be recognised and boundaries taken. but allow people to feel upset about it and to not get over it immediately. i think this would be the same with groups you stan and give a shit about right?

i want to be sensitive with the word grieving i’ve used up there. i would never compare this kind of situation to an idol ing away, please understand that’s not my intention. but feeling pain over an idol leaving in an unjust situation, or finding out they were not the person you thought they were, is a loss. i don’t mean any disrespect in any way with this comment, only to understand those who are upset about all of this. don’t tell them they’re overreacting and to get over it, just allow them to show some love.
