Amino has been through a LOT since 2020. Major glitches that lasted years, a failed attempt at live streaming video and a ton of negative press from concerned parents about inappropriate private messages and adult oriented role play between adults and minors.

Combine all of that with the rise of competing platforms such as TikTok and the declining mass interest in blogs and or more time consuming content- many Amino have expressed concerns about how to reinvigorate Amino.

The likelihood is, we can no longer sit around and hope that things will just work themselves out … if we want to keep Amino alive and flourishing it will require each and every one of us to do our part.

Here are a few simple ways how we can save Amino together:

By welcoming and promoting shorter content, such as YouTube videos, we increase the the sharing of relevant, on-topic, information; as well as keep the discussion going in the blogs comments and or chats.

In many cases, may run into an error and think it’s a major glitch, when by simply reporting the issue to TA, the problem may be able to be corrected.

Either way, the faster we get the information to TA, the faster they can try to help. They deal with a lot, so try to always be friendly while letting them know what the trouble is.

I strongly contend that when the chips are down and the going gets tough, we must be as creative as possible to utilize every aspect of the app which is available to us in attempts to demonstrate its full potential.
