It is I, Seki, back again with some more breaking news and Bungou Stray Dogs GIFs. Today I feel like going on a little rant about complaining.

With recent updates like Avatar Chat, Amino+, and all of the other terribly hated on updates being released, I feel like Amino Leaders need a reminder and a smack over the head.

TA is ultimately the owners of the Amino app, and everything that happens within it.

There have been a few posts made on the subject of putting ones foot down as a Leader, the one I read being PlumpySmile. Basically, the same idea applies to Team Amino and us.

We are the powerless that continue to demand changes to how the community is run and managed, and TA are the all mighty staff team that have the power to say NO.

In the end, TA has no obligation to fulfill every one of our requests.

Its their social media app, they can add whatever features they please to it. The only reason they try listening to us through the weekly Q&As and through the Forms, is because they want to keep us happy with the app so we continue to use it, and grant their employees and owners income so they can do something other than answer our relentless spam of emails and complains when they turn sixty and retire.

My advice: savor the weekly Q&As while we still have them.

Big name social media companies like Twitter and Facebook don’t need direct and constant communication and from their s because they’ve already taken permanent root into the Social Media world. They’ve secured a reputation on the internet, so they no longer need to worry about keeping their some billion s happy with how the app works.

TA does.

But they might not always.

Appreciate the some communication we get, and stop taking each and every thing TA does for us for granted. Yes, I it, the updates aren’t great. But if you don’t like how Amino works, you don’t have to keep using it. Go run off and use some other Social Media app if you dislike Amino so much. Much like with our communities and , if our absolutely despise how we run things, we have no obligation to change everything just to keep them around. We only do so because we DO want to keep them happy, and we DO want our communities to keep growing.

Okay, rant over. The problem remains that we hate the updates and we would rather drag our feet around Leader Amino complaining about said updates than just using another app or doing something more productive with our time.

News flash: complaining to your internet friends isn’t getting you any closer to a better update.

The hard truth. The honest to goodness most reliable and best way to directly TA about their lame updates is through the Forms which can also be found in Leader Amino in the sidebar. There, you can “Give ”, because I’m sure TA doesn’t already get enough complaints about their updates every day. (Your welcome TA, just trying to help out with that lack of spam mail in your inbox ^-^)

So go ahead, I made a suggestion for a new feature awhile back and I got a response by the next morning which was most likely automated, however it did assure me that my email had been noticed among the throngs of other emails.
