Taking out the box of candy from within her car, Miss. Sweet carried them towards the front entrance of Bayshore Elementary. It was a special surprise for all of her kindergarteners since it was Halloween and what kid didn’t like Halloween? Free candy and getting to get dressed up seemed like fun to any normal kid growing up.

When she arrived at her classroom, she quickly fetched her key from within her pocket and unlocked the door. The box of candy was heavy, so she decided to place it on top of her desk since it was close to the entrance. The high pitched sound of the bell ringing for everyone to go to class made Miss. Sweet smile.

“Here they come!”

One by one, kids strolled into her class and took a seat at their assigned tables. The smiles on their little cute faces made Miss. Sweet overjoyed as she loved working as a teacher; they brightened up her day and she loved them so. Everyone seemed to notice the big box of candy stacked on top of her desk and reacted by pointing at it and whispering to each other.

Miss. Sweet looked around the room at the excited children and grinned. With a cheerful tone, she said, “I brought a special treat for you all today. This is a wonderful mix of candy that I selected for everyone and each person gets two pieces of any kind of sweets they desire. Table one, you can come up first.”

The five kids sitting at table one hurried up towards her desk to select their favorite pieces of candy. One child, Macy, selected two Kit Kat Bars while another child named Jason grabbed a Snickers and a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar. Everyone from the total of five tables got up, grabbed candy, then went back to their tables.

“Okay children, you can now eat your candy, but do NOT spill anything on the carpet. Happy Halloween and good morning to you all!”

With that statement over with, every kid unwrapped their free candy and dug in. The morning seemed off to a fresh, nice start to everyone….until Macy suddenly stood up and vomited all over her table. It had blood within it.

It seemed as if the kids were stuck in the domino effect because as soon as Macy vomited, everyone else did too. The room had a foul stench that even made Miss. Sweet cover up her nose and mouth. But soon she went from covering up her nose and mouth from the odor to covering up her mouth because she was giggling. The kids were pale white and were vomiting up blood because Miss. Sweet had poisoned every single piece of candy.

She couldn’t care less about the kids, they could fall in a ditch and break their neck for all she cared. All that was on her mind was quitting her job and moving to California because this teacher gig wasn’t doing much for her. Being stuck with little snotty-nosed kids wasn’t something she loved. With full honesty, she hated the kindergarteners with a ion.

The grin on Miss. Sweet’s face got wider and wider as she watched every student of hers drop dead.

“Oh, I just adore Halloween!”

This is a story I wrote a while ago and it took me about 1-2 hours to write. I used Google docs and the process to make this was quite easy. I started thinking about a scary story associated with candy and bingo, I got an idea.
