I live in the UK, I have a ion for music, writing, art and gaming. I may seem unapproachable, however I'm working on that, many people who know, know I am really nice and friendly to talk to. I am a plant dad to 4 plants and I love being on Amino

:black_small_square: Tell us why you would like to be a curator, what you can offer the team and community. As well as why we should choose you.

I would like to be a curator because I really feel that I can do more for the community. I want to be able to keep this amino as safe as possible to , connecting with new and generally being more involved. I feel like I can offer my experience and knowledge of running and moderating other aminos to the team as well as being professional and active

:black_small_square: Do you have any prior Leader/Curator experience?

I have got previous curator and leadership experience. Totalling to over a years worth on various aminos.

:black_small_square: Have you ever broken a guideline in any community? (If yes explain briefly)

When I first ed amino, I didn't understand the three sentence rule, or that it applied to wikis. So it was disabled, I reposted it following the guidelines after.

:black_small_square: Explain your personality a bit to us.

I may come across as shy or unapproachable to some as stated before however I really am just a soft boy who wants to make friends and have a good time. I don't like drama or fights. Though I know how to handle it. I can maintain a professional level of maturity whilst knowing how to bring in as aspect of humor to the team. I am quirky and I like to think I am fun and enjoyable to talk to.

You are the only one online. There has been a small swarm of trolls that have just entered the community. 1 is spamming the feed and the other spamming chats with innapropriate content. What is your course of action?

I would filter between the two the best I can, removing them from chats and hide their profile from others. I would work both the feed and chats until another curator or leader came online. I would report the profiles to a leader for anyone sending inappropriate content and disable the posts keeping on top of it as much as I could.

You have disabled a post for being considered spam. They are not happy, and are starting to harass you and call you names. How do you handle the situation?

I would kindly ask them to calm down and explain why their post was disabled due to it breaking the guidelines. I would offer advice on how to make their posts abide by the guidelines to avoid them being disabled again. I would report all verbal abuse to leaders straight away and if they continued to be harassing afterwards I would suggest them to speak to leader for more information

You are moderating a chat/post, and you see an altercation between 2 or more . What's your course of action?

I would quietly step in to try and diffuse the situation quickly. I would give them a warning to take the issue to private messages. If they didn't listen I would give them a second warning, saying they would be removed from the chat if they continued. If they still don't listen I would remove them from the chat.

A member is asking for your help with a situation in their PMs about someone asking sexual/innapropriate things and or sending them. They have evidence to their claim. What do you do?

I would ask to see the evidence that is unedited that ed their claim. I would then reassure them that the situation will be handled and I would make a full report to a leader, once the report is made I would let them know that we would resolve the issue and thank them for the report.

What would you do if you had a fight with another curator?

I would avoid this at all costs, drama among staff is something I don't like. However if this situation was to occur. I would talk to them privately in a calm manner to try and resolve any issues between us. I believe a manner of professionalism should be held at all times.

What would you do if you had a fight with a leader?

I would definitely try to avoid this. Again if it was to happen, I would talk them privately and still in a professional manner, listening to their points and views coming to a mutual agreement over arguing.

What would you do if a member has been posting about sensitive topics, such as suicide, or depression?

I would disable the post as it may be triggering to other . I would then message the author of the post explaining why it was disabled and that sensitive topics should include a trigger warning. I would try to make it clear what was okay and what would not be allowed.

You get a report a member of staff is abusing their power how would you approach this situation

I would take the report up with a leader only and would require proof of the situation. I feel this is a private matter and should be held that way.

You see a chat/post with people saying negative things about staff/a certain staff member what do you do?

I would remove the member and the messages before sending them a message that verbal abuse against staff is not tolerated. If the report was severe I would take it to a leader

You see a curator leaking information to a member. What do you do?

I would report it to leader straight away with the required proof of the curator doing this. Sharing information should definitely not be allowed as sensitive topics could and are discussed.
