Maybe One Day

One day I’ll do it

I’ll finally feel free.

One day I’ll be able

To go on my own

Carefree

But until that day

Looks like I’ll stay

All alone yet not.

It’s not too bad

Until I want to leave

And then it feels

Caging.

For my mind to make

Me sick. For my body

To hate the change

Of wanting to be

Somewhere else.

I think I’ll get there,

One day I’ll make it,

This can’t go on

Forever.

I had a good year,

At least I thought

I did. But now that

I , I don’t

Think I ever really did.

It’s quite strange, to

Always feel this way.

To have issues with

Leaving for so long.

But who cares, I’ll

Outgrow it. At least

I hope I will.

Maybe I will.

I wish I could have

fun, wish I could

be a teen. Like

normal.

Not sad, yet not

numb. I wonder

What that feels

Like.

Until then I’ll wait

For a maybe, a

Chance. That

Someday,

Sometime, I

Won’t have to feel

This way anymore.
