The term Unlabeled was created

to refer to those who wish to not

label their gender identity, sexual

orientation or any other identity

constrained into a specific category.

Unlabeled fits individuals who like

to go by without any sort of tags or

definitions. It may describe their

sexual attraction, gender expression,

gender identity, or anything else

concerning their persona.

Even though they could let some

factors of their personality fall into

groups or identifications, unlabeled

people prefer not to. They claim their

identity, or portions of it, as unique.

When an individual is unlabeled,

they are choosing to undress their

sexuality and gender of any labels.

“The freedom and flexibility of this term are what make it so inviting for many, especially when they're still unsure about what they like or how they feel about themselves or others.” — Juliana Tiexeira (2021)

”the non-labeling pride flag... is an unofficial flag that was created on twitter by @wtsroses. each color symbolizes a different thing. green for freedom, white for understanding, blue for acceptance, and orange for flexibility.” — LGBT+ amino.

”another unofficial non-labeling pride flag is the she/they unlabeled flag, which was created by @ENBYLISA on twitter. the pink is for she/her pronouns, the grey is for they/them pronouns and the blue-green is for being unlabeled.” — LGBT+ amino.
