Prom challenge example

Welcome back, it is just your sunflower boy here with a new post for you this week.

Today we will be looking at the Prom Challenge

Please note, this is not an entry but only here to help you guys with ideas and such like for your entries!

The Theme

The theme of the prom would be a winter theme. Both me and my partner love the winter so nothing could be more perfect. The venue would like to be a grand hall somewhere with it being in cool blue and white decorations along with some ice statues, the prom would be set so they didn’t melt. False snow machines would confetti the flooring but not the dance floor in order to keep it safe of course.

The room would just be kept on the slightly cooler side to embrace the wintery feel along with some smoke machines to create some atmosphere and dim led lighting around the hall. I don’t want to mix a christmas feel with winter considering winter has so many different aspects and I would want that to be apparent to the guests

Dress Code

The dress code would be winter themed but to avoid colours such as red and green to avoid that christmas feel, cooler more innocent colours, like pastels would be more acceptable as winter is often seen as a harsh time but there can be really soft and pure moments.

I would wear a white and blue tie dye 3 piece suit, ties are not suited and neither are formal shoes, I would rather people to be comfortable plus there may be a time for people to change which would be sorted prior to the prom date, this is for the after party activities.

Who would I take?

Of course I would take my partner along with me as I never was able to have a prom myself. It would be something I would want to enjoy with them, and them only. I don’t even think friends would come into the, but maybe to meet up later. But they would definitely be my date.

After Prom

After prom, people would have a chance in order to get changed as the dance is only the beginning, the after part, main activities would be ice skating as both me and my partner love this and it fits with the theme so well. Which is why people need to be comfortable beforehand.

Through then to another hall would be tables set out with white and blue cloths for everyone to pick and choose where they want to sit, a full meal buffet would be set out for everyone to enjoy ranging in different foods in order to suit everyone that was there. An ice disco with drinks, snowcones, cake and food would be set out. Party games where everyone can be involved in shall be set, even if they seem childish, it's these moments that we as kids
