Red isn't the color of anger,

It's the color of nightmares.

Red is the color of nightlights in the dark

Red is the color of haunted skies

The color of blood and hospital monsters

The color of flowers on the tomb

Red is a warning

Like blood in the water

What ever comes afterwards you learn to fear

Red is the color of broken promises,

Of lost time,

And misfortune

Red reminds you that you're worthless

That you'll never be good enough

Red is missed expections

Red is the color you were supposed to be

Red tells you that there's always misfortune ahead

That the nightlights won't keep the monsters away
