Examples on the ideas

1) writing a letter

Hello mother(father which ever), I'm writing this letter to you to tell you a few things. Please don't get mad and just try to understand this you don't realize how hard it is for me to write this or live like this so please just be considerate and accept me. What I want to tell you is I'm (insert which part of the LGBT+ you are), these feeling are painful to keep hidden and I hope you understand please don't reject me. I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but this is who I am and who I need to be for me not you, I have known this for a long time and I didn't know how to tell you so I'm telling you by letter, when I get home we will talk more I promise but for now I want you to think about this and see how it is in my point of view. See you soon, I love you!

2)Telling them in person

Be careful when doing this, just start the conversation off lightly and go from there just tell them how you feel and what you wanna do in the future. Be safe and confident if they don't talk to you for awhile just let them have time they will eventually come around, just stay calm when telling them.

3)on purposely getting yourself outed

If you have any friends who know and accept you, have them "accidentally" out you to your parents. You can have them out you anyway you want, even have them out you at breakfast while you are eating, there are alot of ways but be careful.

4)send it by text

Hey, I just wanted to tell you I'm (which ever part of the LGBT+ Community you are), I just wanted to let you know and see how you responded, please don't hate me it's harder for me to come out then it is for you to accept me, so please be kind about it and not reject me because this is who I am and always will be wether you like it or not... Anyways I'll talk to you later, if not then it means you are giving me the silent treatment which won't help you in anyway, but see you later.

My letter to you all

Hello everyone, this letter is for you all, I just want to tell you all how happy I am that to meet all sorts of people, you are all so kind and loving, some are even brutally honest which is okay I love people who are honest. This letter is for all of you for making all my time on this Amino great, I've met lots of great people and made new friends you are all wonderful and I love you all with everything I have. I am so happy to be apart of this Amino with so many great people and I hope to meet more and that this community grows to be the best it can be, everyone here is great, I love you all, thank you for making my time here the best time it has ever been I can't wait to meet new people and make new friends, so please stay around and maybe one day we can be friends. I love you all thank you!

My inspiration for this post was I've had friends who are to afraid to come out and I thought this might help people come out, if it does then I'm happy I helped you come out.

I have came out for those who want to know, I'm a trans girl and I came out almost two years ago.
