New Community Feature: “Shared Shelves”

Hello LRA, another feature part of Overhaul 3.0!

Amino doesn't offer much in of collaborating on blogs or posts. But two or more people can work on a wiki together after it becomes a golden wiki.

How this works: First author posts the wiki and submits it for approval. Staff reviews for any violations, and if there are none, we categorise this wiki in the appropriate folder. Now this wiki becomes a “golden wiki”. Other can pin it to their profile and “make their own versions” (like how you fill out character templates). Then they can resubmit this wiki so the new additions they made can be added. Quite like GitHub and how pull requests and commits work (it's okay if you've no idea what that is), Amino let's us track these changes - deletions appear in red text, additions in green text; images included. The change will look funky if you're not familiar with this style, but you can leave that worry to Staff.

Using the above, we'd like to give everyone on LRA an opportunity to collaborate. Whether you've a 1-on-1 roleplay with multiple characters and lore, and you want to work on it with your partner, or you're a Group Roleplay Host and you want to collaborate with your co-hosts on the plot, and make the application form available for your — you can simply share the link of the dedicated GRP folder and have you pin wikis for their walls.

OR, you don't belong in either of those categories, but would still like a dedicated folder to store all your stuff, you can ask staff to create one.

Text Q to get started, or another staff if Q's unavailable. We can broadcast these folders so that's another bonus for GRP hosts. IMPORTANT: Golden wikis can be pinned by anyone. Please ensure your credits are in place, tags, and include a tag called 'LRA' for added benefit. Staff will disable wikis that have been pinned by others not belonging to the group and are being misused. Adding the LRA tag will help in disabling if they're being used outside of LRA. We'll communicate this with staff of that community.
