My Hero Ultra Rumble Concepts #16-Mirio Togata

-Overview-

-Mirio Togata, also known as Lemillion, is a student in Class 3-B at U.A. High School and is part of the The Big 3. Mirio was originally the top candidate to become All Might's successor and the inheritor of One For All before he met Izuku Midoriya. Mirio is a tall young man with a very muscular build and several noticeable scars around his lower arms.

-Mirio usually comes across as a highly goofy and energetic individual with peculiar habits. Based solely on his personality, many question how Mirio is one of U.A.'s top students. Mirio has a very optimistic attitude and can almost always be found smiling. Mirio does not allow his laid-back nature to cloud his judgment or impede his dreams of becoming a hero. He has proven an extremely hard worker, turning a near-unmasterable ability into one of the world's most powerful Quirks.

-Gameplay Overview-

-Mirio is a unique, yet simple Assualt type of character, being able to use his quirk and abilities to phase through walls, while also providing a bit of protection and assistance to his allies.

-Mirio’s abilities and Special Action all allow for a bit of trickery, and using his quirk with a massive amount of skill to barrage his opponents with blow after blow while managing to still leave a window of opportunity for him to escape out from harm.

-Gameplay Abilities-

-Mirio’s Basic Attacks-

(By pressing the basic attack button, Mirio will perform a rather simple combo, and punch with his right, then punch with his left, before finishing the combo with a strong uppercut.)

-Mirio’s Alpha Ability-“Phantom Punch”

(By pressing the Alpha ability button, Mirio will perform a lunging punch in the aimed direction, dealing damage to an enemy if they’re hit. The punch can be charged a bit by holding down the alpha ability button, and if held, the lunging punch will allow Mirio to travel through walls or obstacles that are in the way.)

-Mirio’s Beta Ability-“Rising Phantom Punch”

(By pressing the Beta ability button, Mirio will phase himself into the ground for a few seconds and if an opponent is in a radius of an area around Mirio, which would be about the size of his in-game Beta, then he will jump out of the ground performing a rising punch to launch the opponent away. Mirio can also move around during that time, and no opponent is in the radius, then Mirio jumps back out once the time is up.)

-Mirio’s Gamma Ability-“Power Protection”

(By pressing the Gamma ability button, Mirio will lock onto the nearest ally, and dash in their direction, being able to travel through walls for the duration of the dash, or if no ally is in range, then an aimed direction. Once Mirio reaches the ally or peak of the dash, he creates a shielded area around himself. The shield can protect against all kinds of attacks, but it only lasts for as long as the button is held and he can be knocked out of it.)

-Mirio’s Special Action-“Permeation”

(When pressing the special action button, Mirio uses his quirk to make himself phase through walls and obstacles for about 10 seconds. During that time he can only run and jump, but cannot use any attacks until the time runs out.)

-Design Philosophy: Mirio Togata-

(The way that I made this concept is I wanted this character to be a mixture of the uniqueness of Mirio’s quirk, and his personality into a set of moves, and being quite the protective individual! His entire skill set allows him to by obstacles and pursue opponents or allies for an easy win.)

(Mirio can use his Special Action, “Permeation”, as well as a few more of his abilities in order to lead himself to being a fighter that can both help allies in a pinch or take down an escaping foe more easily when compared to other contenders. This also means that the guy can have a rather tough time with with ranged fighters since he’s purely focused on close range combat similar to someone like Kirishima or Iida.)
