Absolutely. Power is known to get to everyone's heads. It's a known psychological fact. Everyone can eventually grow corrupt and malicious. Which will cause a hero to turn to the villain side. Especially if they have desires to always stay at the top. Which can cause them to harm people to stay there.

In my opinion yes it can, having so much power may result in feeling the pressure to protect the weak or the desire to rule wich can make the person see themselves as superior and have the right to do whatever they want

i honestly just thinks it depends on the environment and wellbeing of the person as they’re growing up, it totally shapes their mental psyche and therefore also shapes the kind of person they become

To be fair, it depends on the person. I feel if they had thoughts of villainous tendencies, then yes of course they’d want to overuse their power—wanting to really see how much they could do with it. But ofc, I think people could say it varies!

yes it does, too much power can turn a hero into a villain. It can corrupt their morals, make them believe they know what’s best, isolate them, and lead to a craving for control. without checks or emotional grounding, their sense of justice can twist, turning protection into domination.
