What would you have done in GV if you were in Garp & Roger's shoes? (Read Description)

Hey everyone, L here. In the latest episode of One Piece (episode 1129), we got to see the anime adaptation of the God Valley incident in Kuma's flashback, which also showes how irredeemable the Celestial Dragons are by holding a human hunting contest. Although there's currently no hard evidence that will prove that Rocks & his crew were the good guys in that event.

Before, I often talked about which side was truly in the right at the time, as well how other characters may react if/when they ever learn about the God Valley incident. However, i would like to ask you, the fans of One Piece what you would have done if you were Roger & Garp's shoes at the time of the God Valley incident? Would you:

A. Have let the World Nobles perish, and never care about the potential consequences of a bias-fuel decision as long as the most hated & irredeemable people get what they deserve?

B. Prevent some who was probably worse than the World Nobles from rising to power, even that mean sparing a flawed status quo a little longer?

While I may not know what your own opinion will be, I am curious on what you think would have been the right thing to do at the time?
