In this tutorial we will be making a cube hut.
Decide now if you need to cut 4 strips for the straps to hang it.
You will need 8 squares for the cube 12 if you want each side double layered I chose to only double layer the bottom square and the cut out square where they can enter and exit.
If you want it to just be a sitting hut double layer the entire hut so it has some .
Let's begin.

the materials

step one is to make a 4in square opening then sew the perimeter of the square

once sewn good side to good side flip one half of the fabric through the square opening. and match it up

it should look like this.

next we are making the bottom pad take 2 squares line them up good side to good side and sew leaving a 4 inch gap to flip it right side out.

should look like this. now top stitch over the small hole to close it.

here we begin pinning the pieces to make a cube. you will lay the fabrics with the outside facing eachother inward. and pin the bottom edge.

you will repeat it till it looks like a plus sign when you fold the fabric out like this to see that your pieces are matching up.

here's how all 4 sides looked pinned at the bottom. if its easier pin one at a time and sew it down.

once sewn the inside should look like this.

now begin pinning the sides of each together to form the cube.

pinned on the sides it will begin to look more like a cube. as seen here.

sew each side till you have this type of result.

the top is going to be the same as each other but if you are adding loops to hang you will sandwhich the loops into the corners and pin.

sandwiched it should look similar to this. now begin to sew

this is what the top pinned flat will look like skip to here if you are not adding loops. sew the tope down like we did the others.

turn it right side out with the 4 in gap and this should be the result.

happy sewing.
