So I'm at the point where I can evolve Riley into a lucario on explorers of the sky. I decided not to evolve my vulpix cause ninetails sprite and animation makes it look possessed or something. (I'm gonna just recruit a vulpix or evolve my lv 1 vulpix named Tails) Riley has been wanting to evolve since lumious springs became accessible and I've finished the post story, got marine resort unlocked so now my starter and my partner can evolve.
The problem is the sleep animation becomes messed up when you evolve your partner or starter and when I evolve Riley into lucario he gets 3 type weaknesses he didn't have as a riolu thanks to the added steel type: Fighting, fire, and ground type weaknesses along with the usual psychic weakness. And he does look cool as a lucario ngl but I can't decide whether or not to evolve him or keep him as a riolu.

Ypu actually lose the Psychic weakness and Flying weakness as well, since Steel resists both those types
