•long story short, Seth wanted to rule the land of the living, where Osiris was ruling. Seth made a party and Osiris ended up in a coffin. He set it into the Nile and later cut up his body into 13 pieces. Isis set out to find his body and only found 12 pieces. with help from Geb and Anubis, Isis brought Osiris back to life.
•when Nut got pregnant Ra (Atum) was outraged and decreed She could not give birth on any of the 360 days of the year. Thoth bet a moon god Iah (Khonsu), Iah lost and had to give Toth 5 days of moonlight. these are super-added days, called Epagomenae, at the end of the year. on the first day, Osiris was born, then Horus the Elder, then Set, then Isis, and finally Nephthys.
