I just got my schedule for the new semester of college and I have to go to two different buildings, which is fine without context. The thing is, these two buildings are on opposite sides of campus.
This means that I have to drive to the first building, then when I'm done, drive to the next one, or run as fast as humanly possible. I'm not a fucking runner and I have to carry a bunch of heavy shit with me.
Why is it like this? I don't fucking know but I'd rather drive to my first class, then just walk to my second like I did first semester.
Also, I live with my mother and we only have one car, she has shit to do. And if you say, "why not a bike", I live on the southwest side of town, my college is on the northeast side of town. This is bullshit.
There are other students who live in a completely different town, hours away, and they only have one car and live with someone that needs the car for the whole day.
I feel like colleges don't care about their students even though we're the ones going in debt giving you money. What are you doing with it? Oh I know, getting rid of parking lots to put up new buildings.
Seriously, there are already 30 buildings on campus and they're adding a new one by getting rid of a parking lot. They've done this before. If you're gonna do something to a parking lot, make it a parking garage tower so more people can park.
There are thousands of students going there and only 10 parking lots, why are you getting rid of this shit.
Anyways, that's my rant. If it's different outside of America, can you tell me. I know y'all don't go into debt like Americans do so yeah.
