It feels more real

So before when Covid first hit, I took time off work. Around 2-3 months. I have multiple chronic illnesses and a horrible immune system and we didn't know a lot about the illness and if I got it, it would probably be bad. They also weren't doing a lot at work (like enforcing hand washing or wearing gloves/masks) yet so that's also a big reason.

I also didn't know anyone with it or knew anyone who knew someone with it. So it was mostly stories and news and statistics. It didn't feel 100% real though I took it 1000% seriously.

Fast forward to now..

I only leave my house for the occasional store trip and to work 3 days a week. Yes, I can't afford to be off work anymore lol. I'll just have to deal..

I'm terrified. And I know people with it. My little cousin who is 10, but she was fine. She gave it to her grandma, who I think might be fine? But I'm not sure. Her mom and other grandma might have it but idk.

my moms friend at work had it really bad. Fever, aches. Throwing up. She had to spend a night in the hospital. She's better now but it was scary.

My uncles aunt (he's in his 60s so she's older) who says she feels fine right now, but we are all pretty worried.

my friend had to get tested but she was negative, so did my uncle. My mom gets tested twice a week for work.

I don't want to go anywhere but I know I have to work. I have nightmares. My anxiety levels are sky high, higher if possible lol.

everything feels hopeless. And this was only the tip of the iceberg of everything I'm dealing with...
