Here is my entry for the #REAnimalChallenge! Taking inspiration from the cat ears accessory in the RE4R, I decided to draw Ada Wong as a Bombay cat!
This was definitely a personal challenge for myself, as I only got into digital art about 2 weeks ago, and this is literally the second piece I've made lmao. Thus, it's not the best yet, but it was fun playing around with anatomy!
It took me about 2.5 hours to make this, so I hope you like it. And please let me know any art tips to help me improve!

With this piece, I wasn't super confident in my skills yet to go more cat-like, so I just did what I was comfortable with. The ears were an obvious must, alongside the whiskers, and I really wanted to add a tail too (but I don't know how to draw full bodies yet). A few more subtle details I added were the claw-shaped nails and the thin pupils, although I don't think they're super obvious lol.
Overall, I thought a cat would be a good fit for Ada, considering her often aloof and independent nature. Black cats in particular are usually considered unlucky and ostracised, which felt like a fitting point of comparison for this morally-grey woman. But, of course, when you earn a cat's trust, they can secretly be very affectionate!
Any other similarities between this character and the animal I chose? I'd love to hear it! And I can't wait to see everyone else's challenge entries.

That fits perfectly with the black cat set accessory for Ada in Separate Ways I actually have that selected not because it gives unlimited ammo but also because it reminds me of my cat Onyx

Oooh, I really like this art. Your points on Ada being a cat are accurate too, to add onto it, cats can cuddle with you one moment and be hissing at you the next, even if you have gained their trust. Ada kinda gives off those vibes for me. XD
