It was something I loved since I was a child.

This is the first two paragraphs from one of my stories.
Cari Khaleum was about to give birth to her sixth and final kid. Life as she knew it was gonna be over because she was gonna be leaving soon. Cari knew this and she accepted it. Her other kids might resent her for it, but she knew the risks of having her final kid. She knew she was gonna die once the baby was born.
Cari has accepted her fate. "One final push, Cari. Then you'll have your newborn." The doctor said. Cari pushed, screamed and took deep breaths. "That's it. The baby's coming!" The doctor got the baby out and cut the umbilical cord. "Here's your new son. Congrats Cari." All Cari could do was smile as she looked at him. "What's his name?" Asked the doctor.
"Carlos. Carlos Ray Khaleum." Cari smiled and leaned her head on the pillow, closing her eyes for the last time. Cari's monitor started beeping and the doctors were trying to save her, but to no avail. Cari Khaleum was dead. She died on December 25th 20XX, aka her son's birthday, aka Christmas.
