i will propose a question to you everyday (i will 99% miss some days, let’s be real) and we can share our opinions / possibly debate in the comments.
p.s i’ll be answering them, i hope you will too!

the question:
is there a character that you hated the first time you watched sherlock, and then grew to love?

I didn't really like Mycroft. I thought he was such a snob. But now, I relate to him. I also realised that he's actually a really soft guy who cares about his brother and just wants to keep him safe.
Yes !! I really think the “soft big brother” came out of him when he was in the plane and said “Oh Sherlock..” and “Do not fire! Do not fire on Sherlock Holmes”

It was THAT EXACT MOMENT I stopped disliking him

I liked him from Season One, but I always have to pause at that moment and just appreciate it.
Probably Sherlock because when I first watched the show I was like “he’s mean”
Now he’s my son and I love him
felt that on a spiritual level
For me it was Mycroft
At the start he came off to me as a bit arrogant and to controlling of his brother but after I rewatched scenes from the show and saw him protecting his brother I grew to like him.
I was really unsure about Irene the first run through, and I ended up LOVING her character.
Me too actually! As with Mary, I think at first I felt that Irene put JohnLock :tm: in jeopardy. But now I adore her.

I actually felt!!! Totally different! With Irene’s constant suggestions I found that she was an extreme er and helped John and Sherlock see each other more clearly! I felt that Irene’s crush for Sherlock, had Sherlock actually given in to it, would’ve been an obvious tell that Sherlock was distracting himself from John’s inability to pursue somethin with Sherlock but that’s just my rose coloured vision speaking 🥺 :pensive: :flushed: 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Same. I felt really uncomfortable when she first appeared but after I thought the acting was stunning and that the character was really interesting.
Yeah.. there is one Moriarty. But my story is bit different. First I read book then watch the BBC one. So when I first read the book , I hate Moriarty too much. But when I start watching sherlock BBC... I literary fall in love with Moriarty rather than sherlock ಠ◡ಠ.
The thing which attracts me the most was his voice. As I love Deep and base voice.. I literary fall in love and ofcource his calmness and restful mind. I've never seen such kind of villian ever before. Now I like Moriarty too much. (More than sherlock)
Now the question is .. do you love Moriarty, or do you just love Andrew Scott ?(I find myself asking myself that question too actually..)

To be honest... I like Moriarty of Andrew Scott version rather than the original one. Because he acted Moriarty in his bestest way. I've never seen Scott's acting other than this sherlock episodes. So I like Moriarty not only for his voice and calmness but also for his brainy ideas ( though they are bad deeds)
