Chapter 9: New beginnings

After a really long time without a cow and having to buy the milk, they were finally able to afford a new cow!

With Charles and Florence's wedding approaching, Katherine wanted to cook some food for after the ceremony, and with some of the money that they had saved she ordered a wedding cake too.

This is Samuel Harrington, one of Charles' best friends. Charles went to his house to invite him to the wedding, and he was so happy to hear about it!

The wedding eventually came, Florence's father walked her down the aisle and Edward officiated the ceremony.

The couple was really happy to start a new life together in their newly renovated house :eyes:

After saying their vows, they cut the cake and had their first dance together.

Lastly, Samuel gave a speech talking about Charles and giving the newly wed couple his best wishes.

Charles' parents' wedding gift was a renovation: a new bedroom on the second floor and a greenhouse.

Charles was especially happy about the greenhouse because it meant he could now plant without having to take seasons into .

Edward also added a front porch to the house.

With the new century, it was time to sell the foal that Charles had raised. It was a sad moment, but it had to happen.
