In brawl tho?

Brawl PT was absolutely infuriating lmao. With the introduction to this character, and how you can seamlessly switch between the mons, it was such a unique take to transformations in general.

It's a really fun concept to mess around with in general, cuz it forces you to make extra decisions you probably wouldn't otherwise. "Oh, should i switch to deal with this mu better? Or should i stay as my current mon and deal with it? Should i try to switch now in case i get launched offstage?" And so on.

Charizard was like, Ok in brawl, but Squirtle and Ivy weren't actually THAT bad. The real issue comes with the OTHER gimmicks introduced with this character.

In other words, they fucked up.

If you use a certain pokemon long enough, they get mad tired and their attacks deal less damage and become slower as far as i . The stamina they have deplete, and you're forced to switch out. This sucks because while you're forced to not over-rely on a specific pokemon, you often can't use them at all even for a situation they were intended for. Terrible foresight.

The OTHER bs mechanic is their type advantages. If i correctly, Squirtle takes more damage and/or knockback from electric moves, ivy is the same except with fire, and charizard is the same except with water. In theory this os hot because it's exactly like the games but actually it turned out to be utter trash because it was SO unbalanced. Do yall know how many moves had fire attributes in brawl?

Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Zelda, Falcon, Olimar, opposing Charizards, ROB, Samus, Ike, Link, Toon Link, Fox, and Falco just to make a few have moves that have a fire attribute to them. I definitely can be missing some as well... Ivysaur had a LOT to deal with im that aspect. There definitely WEREN'T as many characters with electric properties, and as for water is was maybe just Mario with FLUDD LOL

PT in smash is by far one of the most interesting top tiers in the game. I just wanted to appreciate how they're not absolutely dogshit. That is all lol. Peace

Ivysaur was worse than Ganondorf in Brawl because of his recovery

And how many moves had water attributes? Fludd is a windbox so it doesn't count, and I can only think of opposing Squitles having actual water attacks. It is stupid unbalanced.

There aren't many electric attacks either. There's Pika obv, Lucas with his pk sweetspots, Falcon knee (which sucked massive cock in Brawl anyway), did Samus up b count as electric? If so then add that onto the list. Poor Ivy, not only did his moves suck but he took more damage a lot of the time just for being Ivy :(
