Princess Toadstool. She is, without a doubt, one of my favorite characters to play for fun, and competitive, hands down! If any of you guys watch IntroSpective then you may know how he has said that he believes "Peach embodies the Super Smash Brothers Series." I can completely agree with this. I think that the ease that people can play her with is outstanding! Though, if you play her competitive, she can be a major threat.

Princess Toadstool is the Princess of the Mushroom Kindgom. Her role is usually to get kidnapped by the enemy, Bowser, but it does not seem that way. She has come to Smash to clarify she is definitely no damsale in distress! Ever since here appearance in Super Smash Brothers Melee, she had brought along some amazing tools! She is here with some....

Turnips?

Wait, and a toad? Where'd that come from?!?!?

Even a Parasol!?!?

Umm.... So, like I was saying, some amazing tools.
Despite her irregular move set she brings, it works rather well! She can use turnips to start or continue a combo, her down throw can put opponents in an amazing spot to take advantage of, and her back aerial. Oh, her back aerial! It comes out frame 4! It is a great kill move, has a sour spot to combo with, plus it can do so much damage and knockback when sweetspotted! On top of that, it could potentially also bring opponents off stage to let Princess Peach's edge guarding tactics take place.
Now, I really want to talk about her float. This is one of the best things going for her! It s her combo game, by being able to add pressure, and let's her act out of a throw with low jump float. It can be a great startup or finisher in a combo, really giving great opportunities! Additionally, it gives great edge guarding tools. If you combine her amazing back throw's knockback, float, and double jump, it will lead to so many great things. I personally love to edge guard with float cancel to a backward aerial or forward aerial, considering those moves are so easy to hit, and use! Her backward aerial comes out frame 6, and forward aerial is just such a great kill move, regardless of the amount of startup, being 16 frames, and landing lag, being 22 frames, it has.
I also think that her turnips are, of course, one of the most important things she has to keep care of while playing. She uses these to set up opponents, combo, edgeguard, and possibly kill! How can one little turnip do that? Well, the different variations of what they do are shown on the turnips face. If you the picture of the turnips I showed you earlier? Well, that shows all the pervents and probability that they will show. If you're lazy like me, then I'll reshow it.

These differences are something a Peach player must always be on the look out for. What the picture doesn't show is that she can also have a bomb-omb or Mr. Saturn! We all know how lethal a bomb-omb can be. Though, Nr. Saturn can actually break shields! (Unless perfect/power shielded) This one projectile is really several different ones! The effects are different, and, dependent on what you get, can potentially let you win the set!
Peach has great tools that can work almost anywhere! Some are a bit underused, but for good reason! When you get an up tilt, everyone will see that as a great mix up for a anti-aerial. If you airdodge, you can reverse down tilt, and get a neutral aerial or forward aerial. It can be taken advantage of by just jumping, but if their reactions are slow, then you can get away with these easy to punish moves!
Now, let's also talk about the casual scene! Just playing for fun, and not trying to get the super completed down throw combos is so much fun! When you just slap your opponent away always turns out fun! Then, we all know her winning scenes are great to mock your opponent!

Well, that is all! Princess Toadstool and her opinion to me! She really is an amazing character, having a move set that I think is one of the best in the rooster! This is one of my more lengthy "So Let's Talk..." post, but I hope it was worth reading! I hope you enjoyed! Goodbye, and this is Luna, g out.
