Haru Enrage, Not Engage!

Hello, this is Kaidou Ren Izumi, leader of the small but revived Art Squad to remind you of this prompt: Cinematic Record!

Now, onto my submission for #ArtGuild.

“What you did… When you killed my father

like he was just another body count…

To me, he was still Family.”

Here, I have Haru drawn as Céline from the FE Engage manga. The way she glares at Veyle is something Haru (and Futaba) would do to Akechi. And yet, I didn’t get the chance to draw Akechi as Veyle like that…even if he’d have no remorse about it.

I tried to draw Haru and Akechi together properly, but it looked weird as I drafted my idea. Additionally, I had no intention of drawing Haru’s body, but ofc I underestimated the proportions. Hence, the last-minute vintage outfit and pose. (“Vintage again?” They’re in my drafts for a reason.)

Originally, I was gonna make two drawings for the one prompt post, but I’ve been dealing with phone storage for the past couple of months that I just barely drew this. (And then there’s irl ofc.) I still plan on drawing Akechi as Veyle, though. (I’ve a rough idea if I end up drawing a body again like I did with Haru.)
