I kinda used this challenge as a massive excuse to draw Spins (Canon Spinel) and Nelly (Purple Spinel) fusing and becoming my overgrown petulant eggplant child. (Eggplant Spinel)

A bit about their relationship and what Eggplant Spinel Represents.

Eggplant Spinel Is a physical representation of Nelly and Spins codependency on eachother. Nelly wants to make Spinel happy because she believes its her purpose, and Spins enjoys having Nelly's attention because it makes her feel important. Its very difficult for either to let go of eachother, because each wants something only the other can give. Nelly wants to please Spins and make her happy, and Spins wants Nelly because she cares about her. Its a very One-sided relationship. Eggplant Spinel Is very much a physical aspect of this.

Eggplant Spinel is a fusion based on anxieties and comfort, and much less on friendship or companionship.

Whereas fusions like Garnet or Opal are based on love or friendship, Eggplant Spinel Exists to ease Cannon Spinels anxieties and her existence is mainly to comfort her anxieties and enable her so she doesn't have to face her fears or problems.
