Welcome Hive!
The Clean up Crew Colony, also known as Housekeeping and Undertakers, we bees take pride in a clean and well kept community here for our Amino. That is where the House Bees and Mortuary Bees come into play!
What is the Clean up Crew? What does the CuC do?
As stated, Clean up Crew Colony is of the mod team who take time to comb through our community to make sure outdated, old, or inactive posts, chats, or PSA's are as relevant and up to date as possible. No one likes an overwhelming and crowded community right? So, like stated in our rules, any chatrooms, that aren't made by the mod team for designated roles and for the community, are to be removed if they are inactive for 30 days. We, as the clean up crew, will be monitoring and active as constantly as humanly possible.
We bees also will be helping with the finer details, such as wiki posts, blogs, chat posts and advertising. Certain chats have blatant rules in them, so that means if you do not read them correctly, a Housekeeper Bee will be deleting messages without a warning. Especially after first time attempts. This is so that more pressing matters, like bots, s, arguments, and internal problems are on the forefront of the Mods plate.
The CuC is here to manage posting, in simple . For Chatrooms, they are different, while not entirely limited to this, of the Cleaning Colony will and can delete messages, especially in separate chats such as In Character chats. Posts are monitored by what is mandatory and what is permitted. Each member has the choice of what they want to do, some will flag posts for mods to do a thorough check for, others may solely be given the option to manage chats and deletion.
As Cleaning Colony, we will not take away from RP / Chat Co-hosts jobs, instead we will most likely be in chats monitoring and helping. Any and all mods are allowed to and RP here as they see fit but Cleaning Bees have the choice to and delegate. This is so Co-hosts in chats who aren't outright mods don't handle specific situations incorrectly or they don't handle them at all. They, Cleaning Colony, also may simply delete messages especially if they are severe.
This doesn't mean CuC is the helper colony!!! However, we are entitled to tell you, the community, a few things if you are confused.
Who is part of the Crew?
The Clean up Crew consists of Leaders Myha as the head of this colony. As we grow, this colony will expand but for now, applications will be limited as Cleaning the Community is a process that is tedious (unfortunately) and has a system. The less hiccups with workers, , being apart of this, the better.
With that being said, please, if you aren't being trained to be a or already are one, do not ask me or my co-hosts, Faith and Houndy, or anyone on the mod team for that matter, to this. It is me, Myha, who created this colony and so any new prompts, ideas, changes, and finalization will go through me and my co-hosts.
Why do we have a Clean up Crew?
Like mentioned, we are here for the benefit of the community. That means cleaning up the community to keep it fresh and lively. We are mainly here for the Mods as it is paramount for the moderation team to be spread evenly and not thinly!
There are a few roles, the main ones being split into two types. Mortuary Bees and Housekeeping Bees.
Mortuary Bees include Myha and Houndy, MB's are mainly the who will dish out warnings, delete posts, messages, and all around act as the "bouncer" or "security guard" for chats, comments, and posts being regulated. Special names are often used for such roles, while yes, everyone on the mod team does similar things, our esteemed Houndy has been deemed "the Punisher" as they will be the main MB to disable, strike, warn, and give those unfortunate messages to who break rules. As for myself, I've been deemed a "Watcher/Lurker" for chats, I will be watching chats and making sure you busy bees stay in line!
To avoid getting a visit or message by the MB's, watch, read, and ask questions regarding anything you may have or need about posts, topics, and more.
Housekeeping Bees include Faith, HB's focus mainly on the content of every post. That means making sure Wikis have the right credit, trigger warnings, appropriate template usage, post minimum requirements, and more. Some HB's also will double check templates being submitted and sorted into the proper tabs.
HB's don't do the dirty work of MB's but they will notify the others of important posts that either have repeated offenses even after being flagged.
Onto RULES!
What can we ask the Cleaning Colony if they flag a post/delete posts/chats?
When flagging posts, mods are obligated to leave every member a comment on the post explaining why a post of theirs was hidden or flagged. This includes giving you a semi-freebee; this free-bee is a chance for you to edit and correct your post. This is a ONE TIME OCCURRENCE. Repeated offenses will be noted and the more times you are flagged the less lenient we as the Cleaning Colony will get.
First offense will be given a comment and a hidden post or a ping to the host/co-host for chats. You have plenty of time to ask the person who flagged/hid your post and left a warning on how can you fix it! It's up to 3 days for a Post that isn't a chatroom, and 4 for a chat.
Second Offenses are more strict. Immediately you'll be flagged and given a warning as well, however you will not have the allocated time as usual. Depending on how recent and what the result of the warning is, you can lose up to an entire day or as little as 6 hours from the 3 day and 4 day time period.
Third offenses and beyond will result in immediate flagging, a message from the flagger/mods, and possible deletion of post. Your allotted time is halved regardless of how many days you have. The least amount of time you can have to change or correct a post/chat is 24 hours.
In the cases of repeated, constant offenses
you will be given a strike and your time is set to the lowest amount.
How can I repeal?
You can't repeal to us Cleaning Colony, but you may speak to our Help Desk and Registration for more detailed information on how to fix or get more time.
What happens during the third offenses and above?
Aside from what was stated, you will be put on a monitoring list and will be on high alert for not just the Cleaning Colony but the Mod team as a whole. Repeated offenses are annoying not to just us but to you as well. It's paramount that you read all rules, ask as many questions as you need or have, and stay as knowledgeable as possible. If you aren't sure if it's allowed and you've read all our rules, ask! Don't worry about feeling like you're pestering the mod team, we're here to help!
This Post will be subject to change as we grow, so if you have questions I may add a FAQ or PSA in the future. If you have ANY questions, leave them in the comments and I will get to them shortly!
Have a sweet bee-lessed day! :honeybee:
