Eske is this fine stallions name. Eske is an olden Norse and German name that translates to “Spear of the God”. Being Norse, it’s not pronounced the way a normal English person would say it. With the ‘Esss’ being the sharpest part of the name. Rather is sounds as if you’re saying ‘Yes’ very gently, minus the Y. ‘Ke’ is pronounced the usual way you would think. But like its counterpart it’s more gentle on the tongue. Merging the letters together, it should role of the tongue gently. Eske also has a surname. Bielke. Which translates to ‘Beam’. Whilst pronouncing his surname, as you begin it, you’ll pronounce the B and the I normally but with a soft tone. The E, is pronounced as if you’re saying ‘eh’ pr is you so want to, you can imagine yourself saying ‘B-Elk’. Just in a gentler tone. And like his first name, it must roll off the tongue.

His first name was given to him by his mother, Lady Skadi. And he holds it in very high value and doesn’t imagine himself changing it. Ever. But he does have a couple of nicknames. The one you’ll hear most calling him will be; Sargent. Simple to explain. The Sergeant of his district within the Velry army, you’ll hear most of the people call him such whilst he’s on duty.

His second nickname you’ll hear his friends and family call him when he’s off duty is Daydream as he’s well known for drifting off into a daydream like state. He isn’t particularly bothered with either nicknames anyway.

As it’s clear, Eske is a stallion. He proudly uses he/him pronouns but doesn’t particularly care what pronouns others use on him. Hell, someone could use the pronouns ‘she/her’ on him and if anything, he’d feel flattered that someone actually sees him pretty enough to use feminine pronouns on him. Following his lack of care for pronouns, he doesn’t really care what others identify as. As long as it’s respectful and not mocking anyone, he’ll accept them with open hooves. Though he may slip up every once in a while. But, who doesn’t?

Linking his gender to his sexuality, Eske is currently questioning his sexuality. He’s always had the idea that he likes both females and males. But the more he rises up in the world and the more he’s known, the more he gets to know the societal views on things. Though later in the further future, Eske will settle with the fact that he is gay.

To address Eske’s age, his birth certificate says he was born; the year of the Rabbit in the month of Janus. In this universe’s , he was born January 17th in 2017 making him 5 years old. Making his horoscope sign a Capricorn. The 10th zodiac of the horoscopes, Capricorn’s are known for being ambitious, hardworking, and enterprising. Whilst also being extremely driven, enthusiastic about life, and capable of setting lofty but attainable objectives. If you were to ask Eske if he believed he followed the personality of a Capricorn he’d probably say something along the lines of; “Hm.. let’s agree to disagree shall we?”. Eske, like the entirety of his universe, believes in a different order of zodiac signs. But he finds little relevance to the signs anyway.

Eske is a Gypsy Vanner. Also known as the; Gypsy Cob, Traditional Gypsy Cob, Irish Cob, Gypsy Horse, or Tinker Horse. It’s a type or breed of domestic horse from the islands Great Britain and Ireland. It is a small, solidly-built horse of cob conformation and is often, but not always, piebald or skewbald; it is particularly associated with Irish Travelers and English Romanichal Travellers of Ireland and Great Britain. There was no stud-book or breed registry for horses of this type until 1996, but as breeders developed standards and recorded pedigrees, there are now organizations that qualifying horses.

➢ Following the traditions of being a Gypsy Vanner, Eske is a hearty draft style horse that stands at a whopping 16 hands in height. His head is pleasant with an intelligent eye. His eyes are a heavy brown almost black colour. His topline is said to be “level” with his natural aligned curvature from wither to tail head. He holds a proportional curvature to the croup to enhance the powerful abilities of the hindquarters. His muscles are balanced throughout the body and his legs are straight and correctly aligned. The most noted visual trait of the Gypsy Vanner Horse is the abundance of hair and “feathers’ that should be straight and silky. Which he holds. Very graciously. His mane and tail is full and flowing giving him an elegant and majestic appearance.

Eske has a piebald patterning on his pelt. For those who do not know what a piebald horse is, it’s as stated; A piebald horse is a horse with colored splotches on a white background, primarily black splotches on a white background. The skin under the darker splotches may or may not be pigmented, the skin under the white background is not pigmented. Holding mostly white on his body, the black pigments upon his body are randomly placed but can be noticed more on his upper chest and legs alongside his hind quarters.

Careless, Devilish and apathetic.

Devilish. When people come across Eske for the first time, they may process him to be cold, mean, or sly; sometimes he can appear normal but it’s really the contrary to an outright jerk. Devilish can sometimes be used to describe a sadist or a troublemaker. And Eske is most definitely a troublemaker when it comes to being out of his job. Sometimes you can even find him going against the law. But that only on the occasion. Though he didn’t always have his negative traits he has today. No. He became a troublemaker not long after his mother was announced to be dead in a devastating battle. He didn’t know how to deal with the grief and the trauma and when he tried to talk to his father about it, he was simply pushed away and either told “oh it’s nothing.” Or “Get over it.” And his behavior was never corrected so it kind of attached to him.

Careless; Alongside his devilishness, Eske’s carelessness for getting into trouble was never properly stomped down in time so it carried on with him into adulthood. Though he’s a little more cautious nowadays with his new role and all, he was more careless when younger. Opposing a problem within school and further education, he found himself getting into trouble a lot. But did he care? Not one bit. And he continued to get into trouble until he was finally expelled. He was once so careless he had helped a gang leader escape the capital city without even properly realizing it until lawmen caught up with him. I cannot emphasize enough about how careless Eske was when he was younger.

Apathetic; Eske has sort of felt a lack of indifference, or the suppression of emotions such as concern, excitement, motivation, or ion. He has an absence of interest in or concern about emotional, social, spiritual, philosophical, virtual, or physical life and the world. Now, Eske isn’t exactly sure if this came from the fact he was never able to understand and fully process the stages of his mothers death, or if this was something that followed him into his adulthood once his emotions fused into his proper personality but he

Proud, assertive and Daring

Proud; some may say having a proud personality trait can be positive or negative. On Eske’s side though? It has to stand in his middle ground. Born into a naturally high standing family, he was born and bred to be proud. But he’s not overly proud to the point where it almost makes him egotistical. No. For egotistical people can be defined in simple as the way how a person perceives himself. That is how the particular individual thinks, feels and distinguishes himself from the rest. However, a pride is a feeling one may get after an accomplishment or a success of oneself and someone else. And seeing as how Eske was born into a high family, he’s pretty proud about that.

Assertive; Assertive individuals like Eske are self-assured, even-tempered, and resistant to stress. They don’t worry too much, but this is different from apathy. They aim for goals and want successful results, but they typically won’t let nervousness color the path to their accomplishments. Two contrasting personality traits; Assertive and apathetic. Alike his pride, he was born into it. Having being expecting to meet his family standards and the kingdom of Velry being at its lowest tables during his childhood, he learnt from a young age to get somewhere in life that he had to be assertive. Which is how he later in life earned his title war general.

Daring; To be daring is to be bold, adventurous, and a little nervy. It’s a quality possessed by people who tend to take risks. If someone says, “I dare you,” and you always do, you’re a daring person. If you’re daring, you dare to do things that are risky and even dangerous. Always, has Eske been daring. Even from a tiny colt. Nothing that has been etched into him like a scribe, nor something anyone has tried to remove. They simply don’t.. dare. Being much more daring when he was younger, after time like a fair amount of traits has it washed out and diluted as he matured. It’s how he get a few of his bigger scars.

quick witted, comionate and Conscientious.

Quick Witted; Quick witted people are always considered good communicators. It is a primary communication skill which helps you deal wisely with peeps around you. Though sometimes many may say it’s both a good and a bad thing Eske has, I say it’s good. For it’s one of the ways he met his way up to a war Sargent. He always seems to be a quick witted stallion. Aside from him. He’s always had some, issues with seeing the positive attributes of his personality.

comionate; The feeling that arises when you are confronted with another’s suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering. That’s what comion is. And when with people he is close to are suffering, Eske sometimes tends to think he feels what they’re going through and tries his utmost best to help him. A contrast to his apathy but I forgot to brief up on that that its only to people he doesn’t know nor trust. There’s not much to say here about this personality trait other than it’s only to those whom he is close with.

Conscientious; Conscientious people tend to be efficient and organized as opposed to easy-going and disorderly. They exhibit a tendency to show self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement; they display planned rather than spontaneous behavior; and they are generally dependable. Needing a fair few of those traits for the role of war general and Sargent which are as state; Efficiency, organization. Self-disciplined and dutiful, this is the one personality trait that Eske actually likes. Much like most of his positive traits, he was born with it and it never went away nor washed out. And to say the least, he is proud of it.

Lady Skaddi. Given her name to represent the Norse goddess of wilderness. Lady Skaddi was a fine noble woman who cared for her family deeply. And she did so with Eske. Though she may have been fairly absent a couple of years in his childhood, he holds no resentment to her due to the fact he knew she was a busy mare. Lady Skaddi was actually the one to inspire him to the royal guards later in life. Lady Skaddi now stands at the fine old age of 34 years old. She is most definitely retired from her serving days but she’s also definitely alive.

ғaтнer➢ Jörmungandr

Named after the world serpent; Jörmungandr is Eske’s father. Far more absent and dismissive than what his mother is and was, Eske doesn’t really hold a relationship with him. Being the leader within the married couple, Jömungandr often resented his own wife for being in the army whilst he was stuck at home in the office all day. Though that later came to a stop when Lady Skaddi filed for a divorce. Since then, Eske hasn’t heard a single peep out of his father. No one seems to know if he’s alive or not. But at this point, Eske couldn’t care less.

Eske has one sibling. A young mare called Freyja. Freyja only stands at the age of 2 years old. In this universe at least. But in Velry’s universe, she stands at the age of 16. Eske is very protective over her and they hold an extremely strong bond because of it.

Behemoth Ward and Prince Dimitrius Alphonse Bohun the 1st. Seeing as how Behemoth is a well known and respected warrior within the army, who also happens to be the war chief for the Velry nation, and Eske has worked side by side with the fine canine time and time again he has always aspired to one day be like him. And maybe even earn the nobility award just like he did.

Prince Dimitrius Alphonse Bohun the 1st. An odd idol to have. Or so many think. But Eske see’s the value in the young princes strategies and way of thinking things.

➣Born into the noble family of the Bielke family, Eske was naturally born into a higher succession rate than other foals and children his age. From a young age, Eske always wanted to be much like his mother who was war chief at the time. Meaning she wasn’t home very often. But it didn’t mean he didn’t know anything about her. When he turned about 10 years of age, Lady Skaddi stepped down from her role as war chief and her apprentice at the time — Behemoth took her place. She retired as some issues began to flair up within the family, more towards Eske’s mother and father. Then, after months of discussing their problems with one another, Lady Skaddi soon came to the conclusion of they were going to get a divorce. Which took him entirely by surprise.

After everything was sorted and Eske’s custody went to his mother and his father was kicked out, the years of basic neglect and dismissal began to show forth. Often finding himself in dangerous situations on many occasions, Lady Skaddi grew too busy once again to properly take care of it. And once his little sister came along, he had to care for the both of them.

Once the young stallion turned sixteen years of age, he finally made the decision to buckle himself up and the army. Which he got into. He began to train with the prince and Behemoth. Which helped him and aided him with quickly going up the ranks.

Now? He sits just below Behemoth with the title of ‘war Sargent’ or ‘war general’ and he is more than happy to be able to hold that title.
