「𝕚𝗻」 ⇢ ⊹ ָ࣪ 𝕥𝗵𝕖𓂃⁩ᵎᵎ 𖤐˓ 𝗺𝕚𝗱𝕕𝗹𝕖 ⤸˓༊࿐

ִֶָ𓂃✶ 𝗼𝕗˖ ࣪ ˚𝘁𝕙𝗲 ִֶָ ✦ 𓍼 ִֶָ   ❛𝕟𝗶𝕘𝗵𝕥❜ ∿ ☄

The name of the song is "When Lilies Burn". It symbolizes the end of pure souls as well as their freedom.

The concept is kind of like an aesthetically pleasing dark fantasy vibe with cool tones and not overly brightening or overwhelming warm tones which remind one fire and ice but in an eye soothing manner. The MV will deal with a storyline of the following:

Two lands. One fire, one water in of elements and powers. The name of the fire kingdom is "Fotias" (inspired by the Greek word "fotiá" which means fire) and the land of "Yedor" (also inspired by Greek and the word for water which is "ýdor"). Sworn enemies. An aristocrat family from the land of water decides to marry of their youngest daughter to the crown prince of the same land. They're friends since they were kids but never in love. In fact, the crown prince is already in love with a songstress from the court who's been taken in by their jester as a co-performer. The night before their engagement, the lady runs away. She accidentally steps into enemy territory by entering the land of fire. However, the kind young general there protects her and takes her to his home. Through an informat, the prince receives this information and wages a war to protect his friend whom he believes is being harmed by the enemy general. Upon receiving the news and seeing the army, the general fears for the lady's safety thinking that the prince is here to take her back as his fiancee-to-be and not as his friend. So, he asks a friend for the shelter. The friend; a sorceress lady from the fire land does as asked and the aristocrat lady takes shelter in her house. Over the course of a year and a half, the general and prince fight a fierce war and on the last day aka the grand battle (a duel between the general and the prince) the girls try to flee with the help of the allies of the general as they fall in a forbidden love as the lady is already promised as one's and their love is between two women (yeah, the people are homophobic). On the run, they're spotted by the soldiers of the two armies and without thinking much, they shoot arrows which hit the two women. They start falling off the cliff with arrows in their bodies but happy to be with each other in peace. They cry while kissing each other, breathing in the smell of each other's hair and other such displays of love. The general and prince meanwhile finally clear the communication gap and right then, the message of the ladies being shot comes. They run to the cliff but are too late as they see them falling and stare at each other, wondering how to save them; desperation and fear in their eyes and we end the mv with this scene and a cliffhanger on whether or not they rescue the girls or if they even survive; leaving space for future collaboration.

The painting here used is called "Lady of Shalott" and it's by John William Waterhouse. It was drawn in 1888, inspired by the poem of the same name which was written by Alfred Tennyson. The painting, set at the end of the poem, depicts the Lady leaving her tower and entering a boat to face her destiny, a scene filled with both beauty and foreboding. It gives us a nuanced symbolism on women's place in society as well as the feeling of being trapped in society's mould without wanting to. Feelings both the young prince and lady feel. The "foreboding" part reminds us that what the lady is pursuing is dangerous but the tone of colors remind us that this is who she wants to be, this is where her happiness lies. Thus, I've used this painting. Roses edited in the corners also have symbolism. The white represents the purity and innocence of each character in the mv. The good willed general who sheltered a helpless lady from the enemy kingdom, the bold prince who was ready to move heaven and earth to save his friend and the pure love between the two women which society interprets as wrong. The red represents the love and ion between the two ladies.

Before we get started, here's what character each member we picked is playing:

Kai: Crown Prince of Yedor

MV outfit.

This is the outfut Kai will be wearing in the MV. It's git the Victorian vibe with a beautiful dark fantasy aesthetic which fits the mv perfectly. The golden in his hair and clothes will make his outfit pop even more in the dark fantasy setting of the mv while being eye soothing and eye catching. His choker adds a nice touch of jewelry and charm, pushing forward his royal and elegant aura of class even more.

Stage outfit.

This is his outfit for the stage. It's much brighter and shinier compared to his MV outfit and that's because the stage outfits need to be bright and eye catching so that the final output after editing comes out proper. Under the heavy lightning, glowing lightsicks and flashing cameras, a dress needs of light shade and bright to be captured nicely with all its details and beauty and thus, we opted for this. He'll be wearing a pair of gloves to maintain the royal vibes which distinguish him and his part in the choreo (which reflects the main parts of the MV's story) and for jewelry, he'll have this bracelet on; adding uniqueness. I mean, have you ever seen someone wear fitted bracelet over gloves? No. But will look good? Definitely yes!

Yeonjun: The General of Fotisian Army

MV outfit

Because he's an army general. As he's from the land of fire, his outfit is red. The blacks in his outfit will make his outfit pop but because it's black and red is rather deep, it'll fit the dark fantasy theme. The intricate design in his shoes reflect his class as he's an army general and thus, an aristocrat. His hair color with his black roots will match his outfit nicely and make everything look very coordinated.

Stage outfit

This is Yeonjun's stage outfit. The color palette here is same so I'll not elaborate on that. However, as you can see, some changes have been made. The shoes are now sneakers so that it's easier to dance in and the jewelry is more bold and more of his style to match the stage aesthetics better and pop more on screen. We've added shades since Yeonjun with shades on stage is one of his best looks. It really compliments him.

Yujin: The Aristocrat lady of Yedor

MV outfit.

Because Yujin is from the water land, to distinguish her from the fires, we have done this palette of blue and white. It's sparkly, bright yet eye soothing. It's got a certain class and elegance which reflects her aristocratic lineage and makes her be more noticeable as an elegant young lady. It's eye soothing but won't blend into the mv because of the lightness in the colors. Plus, light colors fit her real well too.

Stage outfit

Like I said before, bright stage outfits look better. Because she's water and thus cool, we've kept it very simple. Her outfit is something that's easy to dance and sing in. Because she's a powerhouse for vocals, she needs loose, light and comfortable clothes to not get tired and pull the high notes beautifully like the goddess she is. Thus, we've gone with this outfit.

Liz: The Sorceress from Yedor

MV outfit

Because she's a sorceress, her color is purple and because she's from Yedor, we needed to keep things light. So, we opted for this lavender shade. The flowers on her nails is reminiscent of different herbs and flowers used in witch potions. She's wearing high pencil heels as the MV doesn't require her to dance. Her jewelry is simple so her outfit may shine. Like everyone, it's sparkle is what makes it stand out in the mv.

Stage outfit

This is the stage outfit. The shoes are heels but with so she may dance comfortably. It's a bit darker so that she doesn't stand out from the and rather, blends in. Because, if she pops out too much, it's gonna look ugly as the color coordination will be ruined. Her jewelry here is crystal dependant and shiny so that her role in the MV is reflected since crystals are associated with magic and witchcraft. Her nails are much heavier so that they can be captured on camera; just like the rest of her heavy look.
