There’s a lot of bad things happening in the world and a lot of negativity in the news, so we here at LO4S want to spread the love through the power of the ukulele. Therefore, we have created our first ‘community project’.
The idea is to create a music video with clips of all of us playing the same song. Similar to this:
We want to choose a happy song that spreads a message of peace, but we want you to decide on the song. The options are:
Give Me Love (George Harrison)
As a uke player, this seems a fitting song with an ideal message
Give Peace A Chance (John Lennon)
One of the most well know protest song
Weave Me The Sunshine (Peter, Paul & Mary)
A happy, easy to play song with a good message
Get Together (The Youngbloods)
A classic 60s song of peace and harmony.

If you do not wish to sing or play on the song, we will also be including peace/uke themed artwork, so you can still contribute.
Vote above for the song you’d like to nominate as our LO4S song of peace.
We will then publish the chosen song and the guidelines for recording, schedule and such after.
