What’s Wrong?

P.O.V: Evan

Jonathan was surprisingly quiet during class. He didn’t talk to me, only making side conversations. When class was over, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I walked all through the hallway just to find Luke. I’m surprised he wasn’t there. I sigh as I make my way back to the cafeteria. Guess I’m sitting alone. Jon has probably already got to Luke’s head.

“Don’t think about Jon like that!” Hoodini exclaims. “Yeah dude, he’s just jealous.” Vanoss states calmly. “Wow, surprised you were actually calm about that.” “Shut up Bat Owl. I’ve just been holding it in for the past eleven years.” He sighs. “Just let him be. You don’t want to anger the beast now.” Rynx chuckles. “Yeah, we wouldn’t want that.” “Anyways, back to my point. You can’t think about Jon as a bad person because he won’t talk to you! He’s just trying to figure stuff out.” “What do you mean? He figured out he was gay YESTERDAY.” Bat Owl facepalms. “Shut up, this is the first time I’ll talk about something calmly. Just, give him time, okay Evan?” I nod.

“I know Jonathan doesn’t like the idea of you hanging out with me, and just me in general.” Lui sighs. “Sorry, he’s just going through a lot of emotions right now.” “Oh, I understand. Just give him time.” “But I don’t want to lose him because he doesn’t like you, Lui!” “What are you talking about Evan? You won’t lose him. If he really trusts you then he’ll come around.” “I don’t know, he didn’t talk to me much during our last class. He definitely won’t talk to me now!” “Evan this is putting you through a lot of stress. Just don’t worry about it.” “How can I not worry about it when I think I have feelings for him?” “Wait what?!” Lui‘s eyes widen.

“Dude you should’ve told me sooner!” He squeaks. “Why?” I tilt my head in confusion. “Oh you have no idea what you’ve just done.” I hear a voice behind us. It sounded....Irish? “Nogla!” Lui hugs the boy in green behind us. “And yes, he has no idea.” “Okay, quick run through, who’s this guy?” “Oh! Well we sort of live together because our parents work together. So we’re basically siblings.” “Cool. Also, now that you’ve had me intrigued, what’s going to happen. Y’know, what I just unleashed within Lui.” “His ultimate and inner fangirl.” Nogla sighs. “Wait, what the hell?” “Lui has a thing for shipping, it’s a side effect caused by his anxiety pills. It gets him all hyper.” “Yeah! So, I’m going to try and set you two up now!” Lui smirks. “You can’t do that!” “I can if I want.” “Don’t stop him, there’s no way you can.” He facepalms. “Seems so.” I sigh.

“We have to go now. Nice meeting you Evan!” Lui waves. I smile and wave back. My smile disappears as soon as they leave. “Jonathan’s not mad at you, I think.” Vanoss tries to cheer me up. “Why is your personality changing? First you’re all salty, and now you’re calm?” “It’s because Vanti exists. Typically, you can’t have two personas with the same personality or abilities.” Rynx explains. I wait a little longer before Brock pulls up in Brian’s car.
