Sometimes, I am pain
Pain caught in nostalgia
Nostalgia rooted in sadness
Evoking a cry of anger swallowed
Sometimes, I am love
No matter who I am with, I feel it
One is a gentleness that re scars
One is a warmth so coordinated I forget it is real
They say a mothers love teaches patience
And a fathers love teaches forgiveness
No difference, I say
A dog will learn (of) love with or without
(I am not a dog)
I am two different people, I say
While I am full of love and patience, I cannot forgive
And while I am full of love and forgiveness, I cannot be patient
An existence caught between hypocrisy and love
Who says life is not all but hypocrisy?
To be loved it to be seen, to be loved is to know patience and forgiveness
To live is to know the difference and to see love in everything
Because without we are empty
So even if I don’t have the patience nor forgiveness in me, Love is everywhere,
Except when I sit still and forgive
