The way I did not know enough

It's the way I was surprised when I saw you reading all those books,

when all I ever saw you doing was talk about movies.

It's the way I couldn't accept the fact that you would like anyone else,

when all you'd ever do is talk about your dislike for other people.

It's the way you would smile and laugh all the time,

and we would be together almost all the time,

and suddenly you were gone and out of my life.
