Let's talk about dark powers! The staple of so many fantasy villains in fiction!

Main uses

The mysterious powers of dark have a multitude of uses. Making dark energy blasts and curses are only the basics. They can summon demons, vile monsters and even portals to dark worlds. These powers can also invoke feelings of sadness, anger and fear in others. They can control shadows and even manipulate other people's shadows to effect them. (but this typical can't work without a light source to cast shadows to begin with.) physical masses can be brought up from darkness in the form of tentacles or blades to attack or in some cases be able to cause instant death with a powerful spell. Dark powers can also be associated with space and can even manipulate dark matter, black holes or dimensional pockets. Advanced s may even be able to resurrect the dead.

Dark side

This power is probably considered to have the worst drawbacks of any power. s of it are often cursed or can die if certain spells are performed. There power almost always was obtained at a huge cost and can often betray them as a result. Corruption of the body and mind can easily occur as well as its usage. Dark powers are considered the hardest powers to learn and master since their so dangerous. Many dark s can kill things they touch like plants or people just by getting to close. The must have full knowledge and precision in using it in fear that the powers themselves could turn on them if they aren't in full control. Maybe even turning them into one of the very thing that they try to create with their power.

In of dark energy or dark fire, there are many ways it's described. It's often colored as green, purple or black to give a sense of darkness. But dark powers much like light, can take on almost any form. It can be solid liquid or gas which all depends on the s imagination and limitations. There are so many variations that this post would not be able to list all the ways it's described. Since something like this doesn't physically exist in our world like fire and water does, the appearance it takes on is very deeply rooted to your imagination! Maybe it looks like black rose petals? Or purple wisps of fire? Or maybe it takes the form of a flock of ghostly crows? The possibilities are vast!
