Jack of Diamonds: Z's Krowe

This is my first counter attack this year!! Z created this adorable art of Miki, so naturally I had to do something with one of their characters. I'd already planned to include them in this project, but I kept going back and forth on which character I wanted to use -- I originally planned on Kelei, but after thinking it over, I instead landed on Krowe!

Queen of Diamonds: Destiny's Ellie

Ellie has such a cute design that immediately drew me in, and I genuinely had so much fun when making her card. Not only did I have a clear vision for the pose, but I had so much fun with her hairstyle and am so happy with the final result.

King of Diamonds: JBear's Link

Fun fact: this is actually attempt number two at this card. I had a different pose at first, but it felt too... stiff? I know that's a strange thing to say about pixel art, but I genuinely don't know how else to explain it. Luckily, attempt number two felt more natural to me, and I'm really happy with the final result!! It also was a fun way to step out of my comfort zone with the cyberpunk aesthetic, as I typically use more fantasy influences in my art.

Ace of Diamonds: Liavui's Kitari

I absolutely adore all of Lia's Minish OCs, but there was something about Kitari's design that drew me to her... and then I learned that she's ace like I am, which automatically meant she had to be part of this project. It was genuinely a lot of fun making the pixel art of Kitari, and I'm so glad I chose her.

There's one final suit before this project is complete! This has been such a fun process, and I'm honestly kind of sad to think about how it's almost done. Hopefully I have the final suit completed within the next few days, as I do want to make a few more attacks before Art Fight ends.
