Howdy here, I'm really late for it but, I dunno, I've still wanna try this newcomer challenge.

So, English isn't my first language and I have to assume it, I haven't read a real book for years. But I had when I was 8 an English book that I'm reading when I wish to me the two years that I've lived in Egypt. It's a detective one "The Queen of Death" from John Milne in the Macmillan readers collection. I see on the cover that there is also an audio version that I never listened to. I have also the three first books from Harry Potter in pocket version that I've bought in London a few years ago

In the French literature that I still can or still have, I think "Vif-Argent" from Josep Vallverdu is my favorite. Yeah, that's for teenagers but it has made me cry so much that I couldn't forget it

Sorry for speaking so much ^^"

Have a nice day !

Hey, Newcomer here 🙂

My favourite book is Pan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro and Cornelia Funke. It was the first book I read completely in English and even if I didn't read it in my native language I just couldn't put it away.

That's amazing! Always so amazed by people who learn a second language

Newcomer here :) my favourite book is Coraline! I was obsessed with the movie when it came out in 2009 and then as soon as I got the book in 2012 it immediately became my favourite! It’s different to the movie but in all the right ways, it’s slightly scarier and a bit more twisted and the descriptions are slightly gory but I love it all the same

Hiya, a not-so newcomer here that is just getting to the challenge!

I can’t choose a singular favorite book, but I do love the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland.

I also love The Unwanteds series by Lisa McMann. If you like romance, fantasy, and adventure I would definitely recommend both of these book series’.

Hey there, Newcomer here!

I may just gage my favorite book as one that taught me the most!

I read a lot so it’s hard to pick one!

One of my childhood favorites would have to be

‘Walk Two Moons’ By Sharon Creech, it made the most impact on me when I was a kid!

As an adult I very much enjoy anything by R.H Sin.

My favorite as of right now would have to be,

‘I hope this reaches her in time’

It helped me in a pretty dark time.

I know this is a bit drawn out- but I very much enjoy literature! Hope this is okay
