My Last five months

It all began with a feeling that this would end soon

The only thing i was worried about was if the refrigerator had enough food

There was no wearing formals and using a comb

As i was only going to be working from home

It was a little strange to begin with

The end is near was however the sweet myth

Still a month later it bagan to sink in

I will have to survive this alone by any means

As I looked everyday at the rising numbers

Will this ever end it...made me wonder

Being back to normal was a distant dream

As we all hoped and prayed for a vaccine

Then I began to make peace with the new normal

And looked for ways to make use of the time available

Rediscovered a lot within myself which i had long lost

As I began writing again, i could write this blog

Pondering over this I wondered how this never occured to me

Was I under lockdown then or am I now free?
