How I Got Into Smash

So I while ago - around at the time brawl came out - I went to my mate's house. He had a game that I thought looked amazing and that was Super Smash Bros Brawl. We loaded up the game and saw the roster. He hadn't unlocked any character yet. We were both new to this roster (I think I was around 6 or 7 at the time). Yoshi caught my eye. I was excited that my favourite video game character was in a fighting game. I we both chose Yoshi and selected the Mario kart level. We did not know how to play so we just ended up jumping a lot and clicking 2 on the Wii remote until someone got hit by a car. We carried on playing and unlocking characters and then I went home. I bought the game that same week for myself and must have put at least 700 hours into it with my brothers.
