﴾ Advertidate ﴿‏

Prior, we did not have any rules against advertising non-aminos, such as Discords, Ko-fi, Instagram, LinkTrees, Caard, and other non-amino sites since they were not aminos being d. However, we will now be putting a light restriction on those types of ments to prevent s from ing this amino just to .

If you would like to any non-amino sites they must follow these rules:

♧ They cannot lead to anything nsfw/18+.

♧ Your amino must be at least level 7 to .

Please keep in mind that giving credit to where you found an artwork does not count as advertising, and Artist of the Month can still you if you won.

Any ment posts where the does not meet the rules prior to this post are excused.

﴾ Application Use Update ﴿‏

We realize using different applications to make characters or add pre-drawn bases/images from Ibispaint are very common among our s, and we understand it may be a bit excessive to require those to be credited to an artist and not a site, however, there will now be some exceptions:

♧ Standalone apps with multiple artists can be credited using the name of the app.

> This includes but not limited to: Gacha, Love Nikki, Monster Girl, IbisPaintX, etc.

♧ However, any collection of other apps with different artists per app will still need to be credited to the artist and not the app name.

  > This includes but not limited to: Nekka and Picrew.

﴾ Inappropriate Topics Update ﴿‏

We originally banned joking about homophobia altogether, even if a was just saying, "I am homophobic." However, the new rule is that homophobic jokes are allowed under these conditions:

﴾ Profile Update ﴿‏

We as a staff team acknowledge that the usage of AI can be harmful, especially since it takes away from artists. However, over time we have realized that it’s not always easy to tell whether or not AI was used to make an image due to how fast AI is evolving in itself.

While banning AI entirely is the most ideal option, we also have to take into consideration that there isn’t always a reliable way to detect and get rid of AI from profiles. Plus, we feel like it’d be wrongful to hide a profile just because it “looks like the images are AI” without having proper proof of that being the case.

For the reasons mentioned above, we’ve decided to meet in the middle with this issue by bringing back this old rule:

♧ AI artwork can now be used only in profiles, however, it cannot be posted/included in any posts.

﴾ Tracing Update ﴿‏

Before, tracing artwork was completely banned, however after hearing a lot of complaints about memes, reactions, and stickers being banned, we have decided to allow only those to be traced.

♧ If it is a reaction sticker/emoji (example in the guidelines of what does not need credit), it can be traced.

♧ If it is an obvious meme that allows s to trace it, then it is allowed.

> This does not include fully done artworks that are not meant to be traced.

﴾ Wiki Update ﴿‏

This rule is in regards to face claim for wikis. Prior to this, any wiki about your original character that used any existing character that did not belong to you would be hidden for face claiming. However, you are now allowed to use artwork of other characters in your original character wiki regardless of if you are face claiming it. However, you are required to still give proper credit to the artist.
