Hello everyone! I'm Cae, and I'll be your host for this week's QOTW!

Who's your favorite pokémon and why?

My Answer:

My favorite as I was growing up, had to be Victini! The pokémon always seemed so cute to me, and the abilities it has was always something I thought to be cool. Of course, Pikachu was a close second, but I'll always choose Victini as my one favorite! I even had the cards and a coin at some point in time with the pokémon on it-- until I traded it.

It's hard to say you have a single favorite. Because all many now have gotten different variations. Lopunny always holds a special place in my heart, and so does Persian, and Ninetales.

But out of those 3 I have to go with Persian. It was a Crit monster in Gen 1 and was very over powered.

It's honestly so hard to pick just one out of my multiple favourites.. But I think one that's the most special to me is Vapereon. I can't if it was in Pokemon X or Ultra Moon, but I managed to hatch an eevee and have it evolve into a Vapereon, I had it named Eve! I even managed to level it up to 100, and I think it's speed stat was maxed out too! I am a little disappointed though because I don't think I have the original one anymore, but I always make it a goal in any game to have a Vapereon on my team.

I have a whole lot of Pokémon that I liked growing up as a kid, but if I had to choose one Pokémon, it would be Gengar because his design, to me, is iconic and seems simple to draw and create. I even like his mischievous personality when he is doing something mysterious and out of the ordinary for no reason at all or when people or other Pokémon are around him. He is one of, if not the rarest, ghost-type Pokémon that is filled with purple poison, and I like that he represents a spooky and creepy aesthetic with his red menacing eyes and goofy, lovable grin that makes me scared, but I can't help but love him at the same time. I like his signature ability to blend into other shadows and mess with the temperature when he faces other Pokémon or just does it out of nowhere, which adds to his charm. He is even the playful and fun type to be around with if you're ever bored and need someone to play with; Gengar will be there for you.

I even have a Gengar poster and a plushie of him.

I also have a little shrine of him on my nightstand just to show off his greatness. I even have some of his Pokémon cards—not all of them, but one that will come. I also like Gengar because he is my favorite color, purple, so I love Gengar even more. Love you, Gengar! Stay cool and mysterious, and keep on being playful! :grin: :purple_heart:

My favorite Pokemon is Pikachu. I have a doll of Pikachu and I have a few figures of Pikachu too. Back then I didn't know Pikachu was that popular. I my old friend who loves Pokemon gave me a Pokemon card of Pikachu. That's why I started to fall in love with Pikachu so much. It's like it's your love slight but with Pokemon. I do know some people are crazy about Pikachu.

I watched Pokémon as a kid and rewatched 8-10 Seasons just 3-4 years ago and I nothing.

Whatever, it doesn't really matter because I can always say Pikachu, and yup Pikachu is one of my favorite Pokémon. Picka-Picka is always shocking Ash, but still entertaining us with his cute voice and character of never giving up.

I still Pikachu declining to lv-up with that stone and then goes on to learn new rolling moves to defeat Raichu (I guess that's the correct name for evolved Pikachu).

My favorite pokémon of all time is Regigigas, mainly because of the manga which featured him often. I liked him becausw even from the anime/movie sense he is seen as a force of nature, or a guardian/protector and I think we all can learn from that.

Another reason why I like him so much is because of the scaling he had, In one manga he took on Team Galatic, Heatran, Dialga and Palkia without taking much damage. Ofcourse there was more going on but, the gentle giant demeanor with the "power of a thousand" always has entraced me.

If I had an immediate second choice it would be Krookodile, the personality and premise the pokèmon sets just heavily reminds me of my favorite anime character Sir Crocodile.
